if they wanted to do that, they wouldnt have picked the club up when we were about to get liquidated.
BUT to fit in with your fantasy and the other knicker wetters on here, I think that AA will sneak into fans bedrooms and slit our throats whilst we ALL sleep!

Clearly at the time they were quite happy to buy the club and try and big it up to stoke their egos and make a profit on it. Now they've clearly been jaded by a large section of the community.
 
Chris Gunter is one of those players that looks good in the Championship but I'm not convinced he is Premier League standard. As a cheap option for 6 months until Moses gets back he might be able to do a job. It's a difficult one really as whoever comes in knows they will be second choice again by Christmas therefore we don't want to spend much and players probably won't want to come knowing they'll be back on the bench soon.

Odemwingie is very uninspiring - 5 years ago I'd be delighted but if this is the level of player we are going to be going after then it is not encouraging.
 
We currently have 14 fit first team players. Given that Premier League teams have to register a squad of 25 (or less, technically) and that a match day squad had 18 players in, I'm guessing the talk of five or six players has gone up a bit.

People are also talking like HRK is done, but if I were him, I'd ****ing be on the next train to Swansea.

We're obviously not going to sign him for six months, if we trigger his release clause we'll be getting him for at least three years.

I wouldn't worry about Odemwinge, the way things are going at the moment, he'll probably be injured ten minutes into the first half of tonight's game.

Yeah reading my post I realise it looks like I meant sign him for 6 months, obviously I know were not going to do that! I mean he might be ok until moses is back but we wouldn't want to sign him as a long term right back. Considering he'd be fairly cheap (£1.1m release clause??) he might be decent value for money that we could recoup in following transfer windows.

The only reason i can think to sign Gunter is for cover for left back, where we're light. If Moses is just out for 6 months - half the season - then we've got Elmo and Lenihan (sp?). Its the same as with The Jak, what's the point in having back-up if you're never going to use them?

Has Gunter ever played left-back? I agree we need cover at left back though, although I'd rather have an actual left-back, not someone whose ability at this level in their strongest position is questionable just filling in.

He has, though obviously his preferred position is right back.

I'm a bit confused as to how a player who signed for £2.5m, has a £1.1m release clause.

So would I, but we're skint - or should I say there's no willingness to spend - so we cant have 2 quality players for each position.

Maybe he doesn't - could just be a paper talk? He signed a new contract in February though so maybe a low release clause for potential premier league move was part of the new deal.

Yeah true. If we were still in the Championship I'd be tempted to let Tymon be second choice but Premier League is too much at the moment.

but is he gonna get game time at swansea?
he wont be anywhere near the first team.
