If big Forster goes then that's the entire spine of the team from front-to-back decimated in one transfer window.

They'll point to big Stevie Fae Wolves, balde, derk and Virgil as evidence of movement but it isnae good enough. It is a risk we may well get away with but not one we should be taking.

The Porto model is all well and good, but this negotiating qualifying rounds for the CL makes it very very different for the Celtoc version of it.

Aye, I knew you were. Honest Pete is a hero among men.

Claims of copying the Porto model are a total joke, Celtic simply cannot employ the same model as we can't get guys like Hulk & Martinez from South America as easily as they can. Same with Ajax and African players.

Also as Celtic are now the only big team in the top division, how is it possible to copy their model when they have the likes of Benfica, Sporting, PSV etc. competing with them?

The club must work within our own limitations, benefits and surroundings not mawkishly pretend to be doing what others have achieved success with.
