From what I understand, it is irrelevant really. He will not leave the BL to come to the SPL, even if we met the price and wage demands. I think we have to realistic and accept our circumstances anchored to the SPL in a racist sectarian country. Who would leave Germany to come here, unless we were outpaying every other competitor interested in the player. We got hooper from S****horpe and that is realistically what we have to keep doing. Brining in players from lesser leagues, tempting them with CL and creating a shop window for them to improve themselves. I think we should have gone after, Higdon and Russell, who are proven SPL strikers, but they would not sell jerseys on a global theatre. We can't have another Bangura, but sadly we might already have that in Balde. Hope not, but I suspect so. We will have to adjust to being the ONLY big fish in a small pond for a very very long time unless a European league of several divisions takes off, or somehow we get into the PL down south from pressure from TV companies.
