feels like a statement to move him but leave the number 15 open. unless someone is on the verge of taking 15 i think its cruel
Agreed, seems very odd. Also upsets the (probably few) fans who've got Fox on their shirts for no reason.
I like seeing players who aren't strikers on the backs of shirts, shows a recognition for the whole game not just goad scoring. That said I do also have RVW on my home shirt, the £5 deal seemed too good to pass up
nobody should read anything at all into squad numbers. they are even more meaningless than judging pre-season results!
The cynic in me thinks it would be good for us to see Snoddy sent off for a crunching tackle on Bains after about 30 minutes keeping him out for Saturday and keeping Snoddy fresh but gets a run out.
O/T But it's not worthy of a thread. Arsenal are now offering free digital membership, offering free highlights, live audio commentary and full match replays. Might be worth remembering when we come to playing them. Would be nice to see a similar offering from more clubs.
Whittaker at LB and Snodgrass LW. Nice to see them linking up, but shouldn't it really be on the other side of the pitch?
continuing with the season predictions - Lawro, on the BBC, relegation pick. We are not in it BBC Match of the Day's Mark Lawrenson has made his choices for the sides who will be relegated from the Premier League. What do you think of Lawro's picks? Get in touch at #plpredictions. "The three to go down, in no particular order: Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Cardiff "Of the three promoted teams, Cardiff and Palace will be down there but Hull look best equipped to stay up. For all the promoted teams, we are talking about a bottom-six finish and their aim will be to finish top of the bottom six. Going up from the Championship is such a massive step. "From the teams that struggled last year, there are still question marks over Sunderland - yes, Paolo Di Canio kept them up last season and in the short term it was an appointment that worked. It could all still end in tears, though."
Has anyone else seen Guy Mowbray's attempt: Or..."There are weak teams in the league, but I don't want to say who so nobody is mean to me on twitter" And we pay this guys wages??
Don't know if anyone heard this. Holt was on McVeigh and Butler talking about leaving. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01f79r5
That's a damning interview on Hughton's tactics last season, Though you could say they worked as we finished very safe. I hope our new centre forwards are not left feeling the same way at the end of this season or we may be seeing more transfer requests.
well I had heard him say that in an interview before and remember that he was pretty unsettled at the start of Hughton's reign so can't be entirely to do with him.
