I have to start by saying that sunderland were rubbish,one of the worst teams ive seen this season,playing at home and they parker the bus for Long periods and had one decent spell in the second half. Credit must go to titus bra ble for an amazing block to save them at the death!
Other than that i thought we played well without really having a cutting Edge up front. Itay tried hard but it never happened for him. Sunderland played like the away team and i found that a little bit emmbarassing for the home team,the boo's at the end suggest im right !
We would all have taken a point before the game so i guess its not so bad in that respect but i do feel dissapointed that we only managed a draw considering the amount of ball we had, sunderland have fluked 2 points against us this season ...a poor team that offer nothing to the premier league other than a Long journey for travelling jacks,they should be better than that with the massive support they have,o'neil has lost his touch.

Tremmel. 7. Had nothing to do really but what he did he did well
Ash. 7. Solid once again,just looking like he owns the park when he plays These days,a great recovery in form from early season.
Chico. 7. Same as ash , superb at the back and knows the dark arts of defending very well! Sloss the game when needed by hook or by crook! I dont like the theatrics but in fairness he has cut alot of that out of his game,worth noting that mclean had a card for diving against him!
Davies. 8. Ran his bollocks off for 90 mins ! Text book game for a modern full back, is fast turning into a future star of the prem league, the vultures Will be circling for him in the summer if he maintains this kind of form.
Dyer. 7. A much better display from him tonight, was still a bit ropey at times and some of his touched and shots let him down big time , had quite a few hospital balls from JDG which didnt help his flow.
Britton. 8. He is so good i just dont know what Else to say about him, i Think laudrup knows he is a top top player and im sure most of his fellow prem opponents Think the same..Roy hodgson hang your head in shame!
JDG. 7. Stræy showing,looked Busy and is getting better at closing the spaces down,give some horrible passes though and if i was on the end of some of them id be having a serious Word! Dyer got caught a few times because he underhit passes.
Pablo. 7 quiet game but i can see what he tries to do with the ball,has amazing vision but sometimes plays the right pass at the wrong time and the wrong pass at the right time !! Has not recaptured his fine form since coming back,slow burner.
Michu. 7. Quiet game but helped the team and worked hard,set up dyer and DG with 2 sitters. I prefer him in midfield i Think he offera alot more overall from There.
Itay. 6. I so want this boy to Get a goal! I Think if he could just Get one he may relax a bit in front of goal and start to score more often. At the moment i Think he takes too much time to Get his shots off and he is also a bit shot shy, tries hard ..we all love a trier dont we! Glad he is only on Loan though, credit to him for trying hard if the goals Arnt coming he cant do no more than that can he
Subs . Cant be added to mention them really but ki and DG were ok i guess!
