how will the player feel if he reads any of this sentiment before he even kicked a ball for the toon ?
And remember, Cisse played for a poorer team further down the league, as did Ba, although both were scoring against top division opposition, however, the lad is scoring well for a midfielder and there is no reason to believe that he won't continue that in the next division up.
We really should trust Carr absolutely, he knows *a lot* more than us, I remember him being on the radio talking about how he's been watching Cisse since he was 14 or 15, like ten years, many games (he takes in three or four personally each week and also dispatches other scouts to games he can't get to)

As has been said by more than one previous poster, the guy's been great. Found some real bargains for us.

I've never heard of the lad and he looks very slight in his physical build - like others though, I will wait to see him play before I decide it's a decent signing.
He's cost us nothing so perhaps he'll get sold on if he's any good.

I remember Tiote signing from a fairly weak club/league and many people saying he'd probably be our 4th/5th choice central midfielder. I'm not saying Mouthful's going to become a first team regular, just that we can't tell at this stage quite where he'll fit into our setup.
A new face is always a welcome one and along with most, I have faith in Carr that this lad will help us compete next season.
He is also the star player for a club that got promoted to the first division. But more importantly, as others have said, Carr rates him

As an outside, i would suggest that if the newcastle scouts think he is good.....Then he will be....You have awesome scouts.......trust.....

has been mainly injured, so there is some concenr that he is a perma-crock. What we've seen of him, though, is very promising
So you got 3 good French players, that is good, your scouts choice of players is great and the price you get them for is great aswell, Cisse is probably the best signing of the season for any team in the Premiership.
