Mags were winning 0-4 at half time, one of them games when you thought **** all is going right, been a few over the years, it was september tho, was just not long back at school
 
Not necessarily about Big Brother but a lot to do with Winston Smith and his futile battle against the totalitarian state from within. BB was only alluded to and never seen. He was more the personification of the state rather than a flesh and blood person.
I can honestly say that it is my favourite book and one that I never tire of reading.
Have you tried Aldous Huxley "Brave New World", which I always associate with "1984", Jimmy?
 
Me too. iirc Billy Hatdy fought for a title the same night and the Jarra branch coach caught fire.
In the away end the fences were terrible for getting a view.
I drove a minibus down and two of the lads got arrested. We waited until half one in the morning before they let them out, and then had to drive home, drop everyone off, and be up for work at 7am next morning..
