Roughly this time of year we played Coventry at home in a dire 0-0 draw. The weather today is almost the same.
As an aside the vermin drew 5-5 at QPR at the same time.

. . . . is a novel about 'big brother' written, and published in 1949 by George Orwell. Our interpretation of that concept suggests that he was amazingly inciteful all those years ago . . . . what a remarkable bloke he must have been.
Unless he was related to Mystic Meg, of course :emoticon-0148-yes:

This thread is, hopefully, more interesting now :emoticon-0105-wink:

I gave up a morning's wages to drive up from Mansfield.

There were only 2 of us so it cost twice the normal.

We ended up fighting with some Coventry lads outside the chip shop in Wetherby ....

... thanks for reminding me mate <doh>

Perhaps he even foresaw the problems with the BREXIT Vote with this quote from Animal Farm------

Do not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure. On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?

Not necessarily about Big Brother but a lot to do with Winston Smith and his futile battle against the totalitarian state from within. BB was only alluded to and never seen. He was more the personification of the state rather than a flesh and blood person.
I can honestly say that it is my favourite book and one that I never tire of reading.

Me too. iirc Billy Hatdy fought for a title the same night and the Jarra branch coach caught fire.
In the away end the fences were terrible for getting a view.
Steve Livingston?? didn't he score 3 that night

I am not sure where the bottom is or what the answer is...except good recruitment in 2020.
Or just sack everyone, that seems to be the minges choice.
