HDM said that ipswich are paying 40% of Jimmys wages which is around the £20K mark

hull daily mail now reporting it being over 20000 aswell, paha, theyre useless at reporting.

20k is a brilliant saving, 40k saved within a couple of weeks is brilliant business. anyone care to workout the wage bill? presume mcshane is now our top earner.

Frightening to think that our best paid player is probably the least talented player in the squad.

It's good to see Adam commenting on all these things.

Originally their breaking news was Ipswich were only paying 10k. It's been changed now lol. Journalism at its best!

The way it's written "loan contribution" sounds like we got a loan fee for him.

Ipswich suggest they're paying £10k pw and the HDM suggested it was £18k pw.

Between now and the end of the season (assuming end of May) is around 4 months or 17 weeks.

£8k pw for 17 weeks is £136k so perhaps we got a loan fee of £100k?

If he gets injured does he come back?

Can Ipswich claim they're paying £10k a week and we can take £100k and receive a crocked Bullard back next week?

It looks like the pennies dropped in tractorland

sounds like the penny has dropped indeed the fans dont sound happy about this signing at all to quote one:

Is there something we don't know hear as they seem far more happy with two united youngsters and another new player than someone not good enough to get in their first team?

Clever buying by them.

Bullard will barely play due to fitness, and is by all accounts an a***hole and difficult to manage. Very expensive red herring- mark my words. Austin on the other hand- if we pull this off, transfer coup of the last 5 years...if not 10!

If the reports are true about bullard 3 operations just how much has the club spent on his knees. flights accommodation top knee specialist in the usa times that by 3.

Is that sort of thing not covered by insurance? Surely the players are insured against that sort of thing, especially ones as injury prone as JB?

We couldn't get any insurance on Bullard, due to his previous injury and the fact that he was carrying an injury when we signed him.

I wouldn't actually like to think of the figure then, it must be astronomical when you consider how much decent game time he's actually had for us, not to mention his wages and the fee!

He may come back a better player. Stronger, fitter, keener and leaner.

If my team were in a relegation battle I would consider 20k a week for 20 weeks = 400k worst scenario, a chance worth taking, for a player of Bullards ability.
