That is what I think would be enough to keep us up but 3 of those must be against Norwich on Saturday.

From our remaining fixtures this is what I personally think we will get

Norwich (a) 1pt
Arsenal (h) 0 pts
Stoke (a) 1pt
Chelsea (h) 1pt
Everton (h) 3pts
Watford (a) 1pt

That is 7 points and barring Norwich not winning again this season would see us relegated.

We need to win a couple of those that I have us down as draws for. Can anyone see it?
 
We need to win 3 games. Pretty much as simple as that IMO.

I'd be targeting Norwich, Everton, Chelsea and Watford games.

Norwich for obvious reasons, Chelsea's season is over (granted they've still got players such at Willian etc), Everton and Watford are in and around FA Cups finals/Semis so might be focusing on those.

Anything from the other 2 games naturally is a bonus.
 
Norwich is a must and if we lose we are down.

Other than that, we have to target wins in all of those. We won't get them, but we need to go for it. We are due to give someone a tonking after all...
 
I reckon we will win at Norwich 2-1, so that would be 9 points total 36 points Norwich would then have 4 matches to get only 5 points and we would stop up on goal difference, they may beat Watford and draw 2, but we should beat Everton and Watford, if they are cup finalists. We are -21 Norwich -22 goal difference at the moment .

Its so bad I am just looking forward to this season ending, and for a continuation of our restructuring, so far Big Sam has made huge in-roads in this respect but has had no luck with results, and if we go down a lot of the dross we have put up with for years should be shipped out once and for all the likes of JoS, Cats, Lars, Wes and hopefully Rodders wil just be painful memories.

us and norwich both have to play everton and watford in the last week.....it could be a mad last week, if we even stretch it that far

Beat Norwich and take it one game at a time. or draw or lose and give up. Best way imo. Or You'll give yourself an abscess <laugh>
 
First of all , you need a six pointer next game . Fail to do that and you're dead in the water IMO .
I think Sunderland will win against Norich and get an additional 8 points after for a total of 38 points to keep them up .
PS. It wouldn't hurt to get a few extra goals and not let to many in when you lose a game here or there .

Only change i'd make is three this week at Norwich
 
Those that said, think about the Norwich game first are spot on.
Its not in our hands any more so we just have to take one game at a time.
Not predicting any scores as this league has proved just how unpredictable it is.
 
Emmanuel Eboue’s chances of a Sunderland lifeline are all-but-over after the Black Cats have received no fresh contact from the ex-Arsenal defender.

Eboue was served with his two-week notice by Sunderland almost a fortnight ago after the 32-year-old was banned by FIFA for a year due to his failure to settle a debt with his former agent Sebastien Boisseau.

We haven’t heard anything so I think the writing’s on the wall.

The right-back was handed a get-out by both FIFA and Sunderland, if he was able to resolve the unpaid debt – understood to be in excess of a million Euros.

But Eboue has not spoken with Sunderland since his contract was terminated, and boss Sam Allardyce has now accepted that the ex-Ivory Coast international’s hopes of helping the relegation-threatened Black Cats are over.



Allardyce said: “We haven’t heard anything so I think the writing’s on the wall.

“We’ve not had hide nor hare of what position he’s in, or if he’s about to settle it or not.

“I think we’ll have to draw a line under it this week.”

Eboue was released by Galatasaray at the end of last season, but penned a short-term deal at Sunderland last month after proving his fitness during a four-week trial spell at the Stadium of Light.
