Most of those lads will go on and achieve bigger and better things in their career but I don't think they'll ever experience a feeling like that again.

The combination of the team spirit and togetherness, the connection with the fans and them all being so young and winning something important for the first time is special.

Us, as fans, may never experience anything like that again. Late goals in both games man. Unbelievable stuff.

Amazed at how little Jobe featured, and noticed he was never filmed mixing in with the other lads.

I never noticed before but when Ballard scores against Coventry, Dan Neil goes straight over the railings and into the crowd to celebrate. Then someone else (Roberts I think?) follows and dives on top of a mob of celebrating fans like he's crowd-surfing <laugh><cool>
It was Cirkin, who ran from the half way line after being subbed, when he stopped to watch the corner, as if he knew something was going to happen :1980_boogie_down:

35mins in. Brilliant.

Grinning like a Welsh lad in a sheep pen.

Love how unassuming Reg is, rubbing about in his housewife motor, nee ****s given.

Great bloke.
Rocking the Copa Mundials too, pure class.

Starting a separate thread for this in case people want to discuss it as I can see already a few minutes in that there’s going to be a load to digest and comment on.

Just mentioned on another thread, watching it ‘live’ and just RLB coming and standing by a chair and sighing in French in the first ten secs has got me grinning like an idiot.

Brilliant!!

Big juicy new contract hopefully for the boy, fully deserved

Nailed on. I’d expect the release clause to be north of £50million.

The English tax on a player like Rigg is huge, before we even mention the fact he is every bit capable of developing into and England captain.

17 year old talking well in the press, consoling our captain on the turf at Wembley, pranking the seniors.

An absolute every level star prospect.
