29k for sure a few weeks ago. Or 50/50 you were getting 0k or 50k.

I don't claim to be overly astute in business, but that seems like he did the right thing at the time.

It's all hindsight now. I would agree if the figure was 70k+ but he's only dropped 21k when potentially he could have ****ed it all.

Nah. When he took the 29k Leicester had already ridden the wave and we're staying to look favourites, hence the 58% payout.

Is this the guy who cashed out on 50 quid bet to win 250k for 72k when 5 point clear. The say he cashed out prior to Watford win and cost himself 20k

The I've who said he'd pay his mortgage off and have a holiday after reading the papers and believing all the naysayers

You anyone here hand on heart turn down 72k?

.....

Sam and his dad just want to enjoy the rest of the season
A Leicester City fan could have pocketed £50,000 if they won the Premier Leaguebut accepted £29,000 from the bookies - because his DAD couldn't cope with the pressure.

Lifelong Foxes fan Sam North, 26, placed a £10 bet with Sky Bet at whopping 5,000-1 odds before the start of the football season last August.

The season ticket holder, from Barrow-upon-Soar, Leics., was set to net £50,000 if they won he title, but he cashed in a lower amount early.

That's the one. He cashed out after Leicester won a few and managed to open up a leaf at the top. If he'd cashed out two or three weeks earlier it would have made sense, at that point that were the favourites!

(I've followed this quite closely with my mother's partner being a Leicester fan)

I hope the foxes don't count their chickens too early although it is unlikely to happen.

They can easily to lose to United, Everton and Chelsea. Although this season, it is conceivable they could beat all three.

Mind you even then, Spurs could find it very difficult to get the 7 points needed.

I can't see Spurs winning away at Chelsea, doing Soton at home and then having to go to the Toon on the last day - when they'll probably need a win to stay up - and getting 3 more points there.

If Leicester do stumble at OT, then we'll gift wrap them the title the following week.

I have a strange felling that the league maybe won on the back of two defeats..
That 1-1 draw most likely took the stuffing out of Spurs..
Utd most likely don't want another team winning the league on their ground..
Therefore, can see the likes of Chelsea and Utd winning this weekend.. of course meaning LCFC are the champs..
And fair play to them, the other "so called" big teams may have been ****e/inconsistent, but the table never lies, best TEAM wins.. simple!

You could well be right, Chelsea will be right up for the game on Monday - assuming it's not already a dead rubber post Leicester's game on Saturday.

They've made the media look like chumps, after pundits and journos had them as favourites for the drop after they appointed 'the tinker man'

Won't be trying for the new manager?

IMO Leicester have won, it's just a case of whether Spurs will now [HASHTAG]#bottle[/HASHTAG] 2nd place

And I still wouldn't put it past Spurs to come 4th and lose the CL qualifier

Happy for LCFC but more so for Claudio, how can you not like the man..

4th is between Arsenal and United.. can't see City dropping lower than 3rd now, Spurs will pickup at least another 4pts, which should secure them 2nd..

If they do it will be by default with Sterling [HASHTAG]#bottlingit[/HASHTAG] for City and Wenger [HASHTAG]#bottlingit[/HASHTAG] for Arsenal
They'll achieve it on merit, same as Leicester will win the thing on merit.

Spurs are the best side I've seen this season in fairness. Pochettino has done a great job there.

I agree over the course of the season I'm talking about the run in where final position comes down to fine margins of [HASHTAG]#bottlingit[/HASHTAG]

Yep.

1st and 2nd established. Leicester have won it unless disaster strikes and Spurs almost guaranteed 2nd.

City and Arsenal to be 3rd and 4th. I cannot see United catching them up.
