1. Dawson - simply impassable.

2. Aluko - showed great willingness and skill after he got his pathetic "I've been tackled so I'll collapse like I've been assaulted" routine out of the way in the first minute. His form was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I hope the scout enjoyed it.

3. Akpom - would be harsh to leave a hat trick scorer out if the top 3, but I considered it.

I'll second these three, normally you'd put a hattrick scorer top, but he didn't do much in general play.

I nearly stuck Tymon in there just because of the fun he added to the occasion and he did do quite well, but he wasn't really top three.
 
1. Akpom: had their defenders on toast and made some great runs which weren't found, fantastic 3rd goal
2. Taylor: had a cracking second half
3. Tymon: handled the occasion well and got into some good positions

Diomande's turn and pass for meyler in the build up to the 1st goal was great but apart from that didn't do much in the match, his finishing in warming up was fantastic though.

Conditions were horrific, i wouldn't have fancied playing in that
 
Akpom - any hat-trick deserves MOM
Dawson - good to see him back
Tymon - Handled the occasion well and seemed to take it in his stride
 
Huddlestone???? He played ok! But not top 3, he should be Playing against that kind of opposition with his F'king slippers on?

Agree with the comments on Aluko. Just need to see it from him more often. I liked that his best moment came immediately after getting bollocks by Meyler and Dawson when the three of them messed up for that disallowed goal. I'd expect Aluko to go into hiding and mope after that.

Liked Akpom's passion. Hope he understands he still isn't straight into the team even after that.

Tymon played well, hope we hold on to him. Wouldn't have a problem with him coming in if Robertson gets injured/suspended.
 
1) Josh Tymon (his performance was way better than anyone could have expected for a 16 year old. Even Bury manager Flitcroft was impressed.

2) Aluko (ran the game)

3) Akpom
 
Aluko - ran himself into the ground...perpetual motion...great covering back and taking on defenders
Akpom - nice three goal performance and full of enthusiasm
Tymon - showed great control and distribution skilss. can't believe he's only 16....star of the future

Dishonourable mention....first time i've ever done this...but

Why was Taylor on the field. Worst player on the field by far. Bruce had to move him THREE TIMES to stop further damage!!! Why leave him on the field?????
