What happened to the supposedly ****e opposition that is faced in this comp? The sort of supposed ****e that we blew away, week after week in this comp last season, winning our group at a canter

Cant wait till i go to goodison and get a chance to see the fabulous "winning an EL group at a canter" trophy, you must be so proud!

What a load of rubbish. The volume went up as soon as they scored and didn't stop for the whole game. Attack attack attack , Sakho chants, Gerrard chants - great stuff from the crowd tonight <applause>
You could here the players shouts after the the initial roar died down.

We've moaned a lot about the silence in the ground even on some euro nights under BR but tonight was superb. The corner chants at every corner, the shoot chants - like old times, I was looking for Xabi Alonso <laugh>

Yep we're all really worried <ok>

Oh and the only thing drowning the crowd out was ****ing Hargreaves - that **** needs to learn what co-commentator means

Wondered who that gobshyte was, kept going on about how we had not created any worthwhile chances, and that was after benteke had missed a very good chance and hit the post.

He's at Bayern mate <laugh>

Obviously it's impossible to blame Klopp for such an insipid performance. However he will currently be assessing just how **** his £300m squad is and hoping that the yanks have another £300m burning a hole.

I feel really sorry for Origi. The pressure on him to score goals is immense and it's not his fault half the team are on crutches. He's been doing his best but it isn't enough right now.

I was glad Klopp had the balls to sub the players underperforming - Coutinho for one (won't do him any harm to take a good hard look at himself) - and Origi later on; and a daring HT sub, too.

There were some positives from last night, but players we have just aren't good enough as a unit right now and that's all there is to it. Against the 10 men we should have capitalised and didn't. Sadly, though, Klopp is forced to work with what we've got until January at least.

Midfield works hard but there's such a lack of quality.

Get in Neves and a powerful box to box runner in January or Summer.

I only caught the last 5 minutes as I was watching Seinfeld. It was deathly quiet. About 90 seconds from the end there was a half hearted, half chorus of YNWA but in general the crowd seemed to have given up by then. Cracking result though. Not easy to steal a point at home against a European giant like Ruben Khazi, especially when they've only been reduced to ten men.
