Well, Saturday morning and waking up with a bacon sarnie and a hot cup of tea following last nights debate on formations and line ups...full of nervous hope and expectation that we could just win and set ourselves up to be practically safe if we win next week as well and results go our way.

Will that hope be gone by 3pm, I really hope not but that is life as a Sunderland fan - for the record I love the quiet and respectful way that Advocaat is handling the media, a true gent, and I hope Whatmore does get a run out today to surprise/occupy Everton's back four...good luck to whichever 11 he picks and please bring us back 3 points!!!!

Oshea out, that can get not be a good thing right?

Not for us, but your chances of getting a positive result

Brown and Coates? Or Coates dropped for Santi after shaky display last week?

Glad Wes is back, maybe our best 1v1 defender to deal with Lukaku

Feeling nervous about this one, draw isnt the end of the world, but really need a win

"Bet of the day
Get on Sunderland at 4-1 to win at Everton."

Also, just for fun ........

"Despite slaughtering defender Mike Williamson on Saturday, interim boss John Carver was earlier this week given a stay of execution - he was told by fans 'if you stay we'll execute you.'
Carver looks a man so out of his depth you half-expect him to turn up at his press conference wearing water wings. He told reporters earlier this week that he believes he's the best coach in the Premier League - he probably wasn't even the best coach in the room."

Horrible looking fixtures today. If we lose (quite likely) the four immediately above us all go into decent home games with a boost.

By the way, why do Jake whatever and those BT lot hate us so much? He always slates us.

The boys at BT are giving us a bit of a hammering mind!!

Go and prove them wrong then

Apparently our win against Newcastle is our solitary win in the last few games? Ok Michael.

Sunderland fans stuck on motorway and will miss kick off. How many times do we hear of delayed kick offs when other clubs have fans stuck in traffic ?
