See Parpoo's been rolling out the usual sh!t.

"We wasn't good enough", "We've got to try and put in a performance", "5 of the players who beat Man Utd (yes, don't forget how awesome I am) won't be playing Saturday".

Does anyone else think that the fact he isn't at risk of being sacked works against him? It's like, we'll TRY and put in a performance, but if we don't, well.....meh. We'll "try" again against Stoke. And if we don't? Meh. Wouldn't it be nice to hear him explain his comments midweek about his "winning mentality"? Maybe he could explain the relegation form since we beat Stoke's 9 men? I really struggle to hear him ever say anything of actual value, I wonder if he's like that on the training pitch or in the dressing room?

Does he ever? I can't stand the sight or sound of him. I just wish MA would see the light and give him the bullet!

I cannot stand the bloke either. Average player, average manager but an expert in making excuses. I'm sick of people saying that no other manager would be able to do any better. What a load of bollocks.

To be fair I hold the players a lot more responsible for last week than Pardew. I can't believe anyone would say otherwise. There is simply no excuse for not trying and you can't blame the manager for that. When people have shelled who knows how much (some compounding their misery by losing £60 quid on top), its simply not good enough to just give up and not try.

The players seem to really like Pardew so its not like the old "they play like that because he's lost the dressing room" excuse can get rolled out. He has been to blame for plenty of things in recent weeks and embarrassed himself at times. But I have to agree with him, changes are needed in personnel and those on the pitch more than owe the fans a performance.

Do they? I haven't seen much evidence to suggest that. I see a lot of love for Carver sure, but Pardew?

Yep Gouffran, Colo, Tiote, Remy, Dummett have all spoken of having a good relationship with the "gaffer" as the like to put it. And I'm sure we'd have heard from Yohan by now if Pardew's claims of a great relationship weren't true. We've certainly heard nothing to the contrary which is usually the case when modern day footballers don't like the boss. Either through the press or they just get him sacked like PDC.

I'm sure some fans would love to blame them not trying last week on Pardew. I just struggle to accept such nonsense personally. Pardew may be an average manager but players trying is kinda of a given as far as what their job entails and not something he is solely responsible for!

Are they likely to say anything else though?

Judging by player power in the modern game, is that even a serious question? At the very least they would say nothing at all! The fact is, judging by what information is out there, they like Pardew even if the fans don't. Its a good thing for me, as its cuts out the bull**** excuses.

I don't like it when managers (however much they are liked or disliked) get made scapegoats for lazy or unprofessional players. Their job is fantastic. I can fully understand that despite having such a great job and mountains of money, that it doesn't mean life is always sweet and rosy. They have every right to be miserable t**ts like anybody else. However when I'm never accepting there is any reason for not turning up to work and giving your best. There'll be days when your best might not be good enough. There'll be days when Pardew makes it hard for them by picking the wrong players or tactics. I simply don't accept there is ever a time when he tells them not to run around or a time when its ok for them to turn up think "nah I can't be arsed today" - which is what happened last week

I can't recall anyone ever saying no other manager would be able to do any better? That would be mental. I'm sure Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho etc etc could do better. There will be loads of managers who could do better. How many of them would be queing up to replace him and work under Mike is another matter though.

God knows what are team will be now for Saturday with now Sissoko out along with Krul, Remy, Debuchy. No matter what team Manure put out I think we are in for a drubbing.

Looking very likely.

A pity that we come up against Man Utd with a weakened team but end up with more crocks ourselves.

I thought Remy had a chance?

It is looking like weak side we'll be putting out.

Guys, don't worry - Parpoo's going to turn to a young starlet who's been making waves as he looks to "shake things up". Yep, you guessed it - Dan Gosling is going to start vs Man U.

This is a fck off big LOL to anyone who stands by this fcking tool of a manager. Sorry, Friday angst kicking in well ahead of the post-match depression.
