Possibly not for this game, but at somepoint in the not too distant future I'd like to see Haidara come in for Santon. The balance feels a little better when our left back has a left foot, and I feel a little more comfortable with Haidara at left back, he doesn't seem to easily beaten by aggressive wingers, and his positioning is better.

I agree. He looks very promising. I really like santon because I think he loves the club but I do think that at LB it is a bit of a shame because he is keeping out two very good young players in Haidara & Dummet

Krul; Debuchy, Coloccini (c), Williamson, Santon; Anita, Tiote, Cabaye; Sissoko, Remy, Gouffran

Subs: Elliot, Haidara, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sammy Ameobi, Ben Arfa, Shola Ameobi, Cisse

I have just enough hope to make it hurt even more if we lose today.

This. The down side of having a good season. Its the hope and all that....

My worry is that Walcott has timed his return from injury to coincide with playing us. He enjoys playing against us! With a couple of matches under his belt and some goals to get his confidence up, he'll be fresh and eager to play our defence. We'll need to get stuck into them from the off and not let them get settled.

I think pards has listened to my tactical advice.
Pards- FYI you need to bring Benni on at 67 mins.
Midfield will again be key in the second half.
Guy in the seat next to me has just backed 3-2 to the Toon.

Arsenal have been allowed to foul with impunity throughout this match. Newcastle have been called up for a foul if they sneeze near a red shirted player.

Cazorla went down like a fairy for the free kick. Turned round, clocked Tiote behind him and swan dived to the ground.

Perhaps the Arsenal strip next season should feature pink tutus as that seems wholly appropriate for them.
