I only caught the last twenty minutes of the game after putting what's left of the roof back on the shed. The result wasn't good, of course, but the manner of the play in the last portion of the game, if maintained over the whole of every game, each and every game, would make this lot almost unbeatable.

    Exciting stuff though.

Overall we might have been worth a point, but didn't really test their goalie aside from Sissoko and Debuchy's efforts, which isn't really good enough as the home side. One defensive lapse, and they took advantage. Fair play to them. Vaguely contented that we put up a decent show though, we're not far off the top sides in this league. I wish January would bring us closer.

I've got no complaints about the result. We could have sneaked a draw at the end (especially with some bizarre late decisions by Wenger) but we can't win em all. HBA showed why he doesn't start for me though. Full of skill but still making some poor decisions. Does the hard part and then the gold mist comes down and he has to go for glory.

Ah well. We matched them and the only thing that divided us was the closet gunner referee.

Used to think Walcott was a good skilful player but my estimation of him has gone right down because of his cheating diving ways!

Didn't think much of the officials either, letting such blatant diving go unpunished.

You clearly know as little about the game as that team of thugs your club put out today. Newcastle = the new Stoke.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And I thought the crybaby mentality of their manager was bad enough. Let's face it, they've been fed the same bulls*** tactics and type of players for years now, wouldn't know what a player with power looked like if he smacked them in their spoilt arses with a thunderbolt... Or dare I say, the bottom left hand corner in the Gallowgate goal...

Are you Kyle in disguise? Stupid comment.

Both teams were up for a physical game today, with Arsene Wenger actually praising your team's ability to get pyhsical in his post match interview. He had no complaints over the way the game was played.

And let's face it, them getting physical with us was simply petulant little tarts like Rosicky and Flamini lashing out for obvious bookings... Pathetic.

And I suppose you were at the game were you?

Or did you just sit and watch and follow the camera's around.

If you were at the game you need to take your blinkers off!

I thought the ref was far too lenient for most of the game today before he switched personality and started blowing up for every little thing we did in the last 20 mins. Before that though, Rosicky was both stupid and lucky. The way he reacted to Cabaye, raising his hands, could well have seen red with a different ref (I wouldn't have agreed with it but it could have - just as it could for Tiote later on).

All fans see things through biased specs, but for too long too many Arsenal fans have played the victim to those nasty opposition players 'getting rough' but turn a blind eye to some very dirty play from their own team - taking the lead from their manager.

I think Arsenal and their fans play a different sport most of the time, because they seem instantly offended as soon as someone coughs near them. Oh "you're the new stoke"... Pfft. You can tell they don't watch anybody else play FOOTBALL.

Oh and incidentally, that's why they won't win the premier league this season... All the other title challengers play THIS sport.

Agree with these and thought we were unlucky not to get a draw.

When they were unbeatable it was built around Viera - one of the few players who would have made Tiote think twice about tackling cos he was what they would now call a 'thug' - as well as being a very good player. If they had a bit more backbone they would have won something in the last 8 years.
