Transfer Rumours Summer 2026 Transfer Thread…

SO THE FIRST 6 GOALS WERE FOR HIS SUNDAY LEAGUE TEAM... Looking at that id rather have Ohio. Is it because he's Brazilian that doubles his price, because if thats the case, increase the offer for MEC whose value could potentially triple or more...
Ohio has done his crucial ligament. The curse applies even after they leave us.

Honestly, I was up in arms about a swap deal for Butland. That we're reportedly spending £3m for him instead is ridiculous. The fee for Pandur is great but, why are we then buying Butland? Buy better keepers in July... I can't make sense of this Butland deal at all

They're scratching our back so we're scratching theirs

In the 'real world', it would probably be something like £4m for Panda, £1m for Butland.
But those figures wouldn't work for either of us, for obvious reasons, hence the £6m and £3m they have reportedly agreed on.
As said in an earlier post, hopefully EFL / PL find those figures sufficiently plausible & acceptable.
Re. Joseph. I can't believe that Boro would give us a straight £5mill for Joseph. I might be wrong, but I expect it's maybe £5mill in total if all add-ons are achieved. And that's part of why the figures need to be inflated for Panda / Butland, so that in terms of immediate accounting profit we achieve the much quoted £6 mill figure, probably with a little bit extra to spare, just to make sure. Surely no way a club would pay a straight £5mill for him.

Find it weird that we're throwing out significant money on a few players, thought we'd see a lot of 10m deals rather than 15-20m thrown about
Thought, and still expect, we'll see quite a few deals around £5 to £10 million, with just 1 or 2 closer to £20 mill, with 1 being a bit of a marque experienced signing.

That's what I thought and expected, but you see that young Brazilian, the Brazilian striker, the cm from rangers, the cm from Everton, a couple of the gks and they're all pushing the 15-20 mark. Not saying we'd want them all but I've not seen any of the 5-10m rumours and I thought we'd have loads... Unless that's all the eastern European lads sergej wants

Seems Pandur a more accurate long passer than Butland and suspect we will be doing more of that in the premier than the Championship.

I'm marking this date. I'm certain there will come. day when on a MDT people will say Butland was immense and Pandur wouldn't have saved that...

He's a decent shot stopper by all accounts, but then so is Pandur.

Question marks seem to be around his ability with the ball at feet and that he's very inconsistent with a mistake in him.

If he's not really doing it at Rangers, then can we expect him to do so in the premier league?

As a backup fine. It's an improvement on Phillips.
