World Cup 2026

Lots of reasons to dislike arsenal, heres 5 mores, Dixon, Keown, Wright, Parlour Wrights son.... then add reasons to additional hate Liverpool, Danny Murphy and Leeds, Danny Mills..

They not relevant to todays football, they wouldn't get a game...
Are you sure you're a City fan?

Ancelotti is obviously a great manager but it’s clear he doesn’t actually coach defensive shapes or instructions. It’s just vibes-based football <laugh>

Hate is a strong word .
Whilst some might get on my nerves I don't hate any .
And Ray Parlour always comes across as a genuine Gentleman.

That's what Brazil want though isn't it. I've mentioned it before but the way they went out against Croatia last World Cup was ridiculous. They were so much better than them, went ahead but just refused to be pragmatic after that, got caught with loads of men up the pitch and conceded an equaliser on the counter then lost on pens. I know obviously lots of teams including England have lost to Croatia but that Brazil one was so avoidable it was laughable.

Relationism, innit. Very popular in Brazilian domestic football and Ancelotti, despite not being Brazilian, has been heavily influenced by it and is one of the few elite European managers to subscribe to that philosophy (almost every other European coach subscribes to positionism). It makes sense that Ancelotti is the head coach of Brazil because their philosophies are aligned. Ancelotti has always built teams around mercurial players and pretty much just gives them the freedom to do what they want on the pitch. He’s the opposite of Guardiola in a way.

“They will do 4 quarters of the game instead of two halves so to put commercials, you’ll see”

Maradona being interviewed in 2018 on the day the World Cup 2026 was awarded to USA, Mexico and Canada.
Can't remember which game it was but a couple of nights ago, the commentator was remarking on summat then said "or the first quarter now we have to call it"
****s.
