Transfer Rumours Summer 2026 Transfer Thread…

I'm glad Mec is unlikely now. Who is he? What's he done to warrant that asking price? Crazy tbh. I get big clubs are considering him but, obviously they'll loan him out. Were as us, we need players ready and confident to play come August.

The constant downplaying of Pandur on Twitter is pissing me off.....
Its a hard one to understand, he's been excellent for us. Yes, he has the occasional rush of blood to the head, but overall a big step-up on Allsop.
PS..I guess the club are looking to do some business after the WC, there's a wide number of decent players out there, but knowing if they are PL class is the big unknown.

Not to get back into summer 2026 accounting thread, but if kj is 3.5m + 1.5 add ons, does that count as 5 or 3.5 in the ol' profit column?
Depends if and when add ons are triggered some add ons may have been triggered and partially written off already or not triggered

A certain Gustavo Puerta anyone?
Playing well for Columbia...I think he'll be heading to the Premier League, or to a top club in Spain, next season. The premier league club will be unlikely to be Hull City. More likely a Newcastle or Everton.

Pandur would give more the the squad in the prem then Joseph would, if it's one or the other then Joseph going all day long for me

Hard agree, but think we can and will improve on Pandur so not too fussed about him leaving either. The one thing that is difficult to replace with both is that they both seem to be big personalities and popular figures backstage.

If we can keep pandur and he's no2 / pushing with someone better for No1 then I think it's a great result.....so if we can sell Joseph and another 1/2, keep pandur and get the £££ needed then I'd say that would be the best result all round

Don't think we raise the 6 million with Joseph alone.

How is that possible if Pandur is likely sat on the bench while Joseph would come on to see games out?
Joseph had a good season and contributed a lot to us being able to achieve what we did, his sprint back nearly full length of pitch to do a goal line clearance showed he is the type of character to have around.

I'd much rather ten minutes of him off the bench seeing games out than Pandur putting pressure on a keeper in training.

But he was only a bit part player in the Championship so can't see him getting much game time in the Premier league.
I liked Joseph but think its best for everyone if he moves on. While his stock is high we get a decent price and he will get a decent club and wages

Let’s say we sign a first choice keeper and Pandur stays as second choice. If the number 1 gets injured, Pandur is good enough to do a job for us. Joseph isn’t good enough to get frequent game time, even if it’s off the bench. If that’s the best we’ve got to see a game out, we’re bang in trouble. Not a reflection on his effort or attitude, just that he’s simply short of the level, and significantly so.
