I would expect to start seeing concrete links to sales for players stepping up this week. I think Baz suggested as much late last week. Palmer and Burstow have the most domestic interest so I could imagine both would be able to secure moves reasonably soon, and then it's just going to depend how much we net for them as to how we approach further sales. I won't be getting too twitchy unless we get to the weekend with no concrete news or announcements.

Even then, we have to keep remembering that the 6 point penalty is only speculation and has no precedence of being applied while in the PL to a promoted club. There's every chance the penalty - whatever it is - gets delayed to our next Championship season.

So the consensus is tha Giles has improved under the guidance of the current coaching staff.
I think Egan is more solid also.
Has Hughes improved under their tutelage?
I’m not sure he has.
Thoughts.
The perspective often seems to be if a player improves it's because of amazing coaching but if they don't it's because they just aren't bothered. I don't see how it's that simple, even more so with younger players.

That's why for all the focus on training facilities I'd also focus on coaching (and medical staff). Not just making our academy more attractive and productive but even some aspects of the first team. Set pieces for example haven't been good enough and they need to be next season. Get the manager the very best team, and the team isn't just the players.
