How can a club morally operate when it's own chairman has to have a safeguarding order put in place preventing them from interacting with the clubs own woman and youth teams?
I do find it difficult that the staff at West Ham are able to overlook Sullivan's background but you can take this back further to when he was involved with Birmingham. On top of this, Sullivan had served a 6 month prison sentence back in the 1970s and was alleged to have been involved with prostitution.

I did not realise until this morning that there were restrictions in place at West Ham to prevent Sullivan watching the women's and youth team matches. Fair play for them taking action bit it beggars this question as to how long this remained undiscovered.

Why is there a bagel on the Stoke crest?!!
I am wondering if anyone else had the old Mobil garage football map of Britain from the late 1970s which had fabric stickers you acquired with petrol purchases ? I had this on my bedroom door when I was a kid. The Stoke badge on that collection was the most appealing one on the set but has not been in use for many years. I do not like the recent, unimaginative crests and the Stoke ones are now quite uninspiring.

The other club crest which I thought was brilliant was the old Arsenal one which has now been simplified. I like that one because it seemed more heraldic . The same applied to the Ipswich badge with the horse on it. The use of Latin on the Blackburn Rover's crest is decent too and makes me think about the origins of the game. It is the modern crests which I think fall short such as the old Leeds Utd badge on the Admiral shirts.

Weird that Saint's crest was voted the least appealing. For once, it is actually more appealing than the original one with the city crest with three roses on.

I thought half the reason they went for Edwards was because of his Championship experience. Never heard of that guy before but hopefully this backfires.
Radio 5 discussed his appointment prior to a match early in the year and the conclusion was not only the same but also that he had improved the performances. He was also described as being appointed to assess the quality of the playing staff with much of this expected to change after relegation was confirmed. Edwards would have been successful in the Championship. They have effectively lost six months of preparation.

It does seen a very strange move and you wonder how successful Middlebrough would have been had he not left.

Must admit I thought they took on Edwards pretty sure relegation was nailed on and they saw him as the man to get them straight back up .

Hope it back fires as has been said , esp as I have read he found out about it via social media ?

Gutless owner / owners .

Thought I’d have a look at the bookies odds for next season and we are 6th favourites to win the league and 7th for promotion, might be worth a flutter if anyone is feeling confident (except Tom)

Saints well down the betting list at 14 to 1 for title. Just feels like a bit of value ( Tonda dependent of course)
