Silva is tough to replace for Fulham.

Done a really good job. No shock he’s left he’s cried out for some backing for a couple years now and they’ve never given it. He’s done a really good job there.

I personally think Iraola is superb and I think Liverpool are right in it next year. Don’t forget how good Kerkez was under him and Frimpong is exactly what he likes as well.

He will benefit from a fit Isak, and he loves technical players like Wirtz and Ekitike.

They will go massive on a CB this summer, like a Bastoni level CB and they have Jaquet arrive who looks likely to become absolutely world class. They also signed Leoni who looked exceptional in Italy but go injured and forgotten about early.

It’s like the signings they made last summer were ready for Iraola coming in.

Massive contenders for me next season with him.

He is a whiny little twat like Arteta though, but he won’t play **** mind numbing football at least.

Aka "They won't let me bankrupt the club in the transfer market so I quit".

Or, he might be smart enough to sense he needs a rest from it. Five years is a long time in one job, and if he's feeling the stress he's doing himself and his family a big favour by accepting the fact.

If he turns up somewhere else in a few weeks mind, we'll know different!

Ouch! That will hit Ipswich mind!
It's been thought for a while that he's got his eyes on a bigger job, I wonder if this is him preparing for it? He's got a decent reputation because of getting Ipswich promoted 3 times and they were the only team that twitched when getting relegated, so leaving now keeps that intact and makes it easier if a bigger club struggles at the start of the season wants to make a change.

It's a big blow up Ipswich, though. It puts a lot of pressure on the replacement straight away.

Would have thought he'd have a quit straight after the season ended in that case. Something is afoot!
