He is.
The problem with this lad, is that he is a very good player who probably thinks he's good enough to start.
If he'd been at Liverpool maybe it would have been easier for him to accept being in and out. Hopefully we can convince him to stay and make it work.
He's a goodun. The type all teams need. Rock solid in multiple positions, and no drama from him.

Watching Arsenal on Saturday night i reckon, although they are overall a much better team than us.... we have one similarity... they have a superb defence but their attack is so so. Ie the one nil to the Arsenal vibe.

Likewise our defence (apart from a couple of blips) is solid but we don't score enough goals.

I generally agree with the adage you build a team from the back... so this window i am hoping for new strikers

I've specifically watched Amad, over the last month, and have to say I'm not convinced he's right for us now.

He's seriously talented but his decisions, in the final third and penalty area, don't seem decisive for someone who's had plenty of game time. He'd be a very expensive mistake to make and we'd be expecting him to start most games.

I have the feeling we could buy someone as good, from abroad, for much less money.

IthinkDoku was poor first season, but absolutely has looked superb this. As mentioned, Cherli landed and hit the ground runnning, so think that’s what I’d prefer (obviously not actually him,we’ll, obviously him, but know we’re not getting him!!!)
