Agree, can't see it though sadly.
If not I'll start to be concerned he's losing interest. He's surely not willing to throw money at it forever, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if this coming just when things were looking better finally broke him.

If he is remotely think of selling up, I hope he can do it quickly (within reason) because the worst outcome would be that he loses interest, can't sell and the whole thing starts to fester. Couldn't stand that.

It's 100% written in the stars that will happen. All those saying at least we haven't got the owners of Reading or Wednesday are shortly going to find out we have

Yeah if he finds a buyer then fair enough, but if he loses interest and doesn't sell then we'll be in a Chansiri situation for sure.

I'm probably reading too much into this but, of all the things he mentioned, the last one stood out:

"Ben Garner - see you soon"

Mmm...

Head of UK Scouting? I thought that was Bear Grylls. When I was a sea-scout in Cowes, back in Nineteen hundred and mumble, mumble, we had to be honest, truthful and kind. One out of three ain’t too bad. Scouting and cheating, never in this world!

Reactions: Lemons and Oranges
Saints finances. Owe £100m to creditors (mostly to parent company). At end of 2025, owed £99m in unpaid transfer fees. Final parachute payment is £35m. Source: Southampton FC podcast hosted by Kieran Maguire. His verdict “Saints have to be careful” …..

On this note… what fees do we think players will go for this summer?

Can see it being something like:
• Leo - £24mill
• Jander - £18mill (+add ons / sell on %)
• Charles - £20mill (+add ons / sell on %)
• THB - £20mill (+add ons / sell on %)
• Rambo - £20mill
• Sugawara - £12mill
• Fernandes (15% sell on) - around £10mill (unless 15% if of profits then significantly less)

Equating to roughly £120mill in total figures + £40 mill parachute still, we’ll be fine!
