Never thought Regis would get it because if you win the league it's a formality with these things, regardless of circumstances.

He's been getting a tonne of plaudits and recognition though, and has been a huge part of our club now being one of the most respected in the country after being a bit of a joke not long ago.

Excellent strategist and I love his demeanour. Goes crazy with passion at times during matches but always cool and reasonable in interviews. Must be a great role model for the players.

It's only ever been won 5 times by a manager who didn't win the league, which makes it a bit pointless. Although I guess just being nominated is good to have on your CV.

Apart from Burley mostly media favourites.
The Pulis one always annoyed me. Same season we had our "great escape", from being bottom of the league and looking certain after an awful start for relegation to surviving. Then add in a league cup final, the first English team to beat Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, first win at Old Trafford since 1968 yet Poyet wasn't in the equation but Pulis was?

Media favorite, as you say.

Why is it daft? one game is not going to change opinions on a season.
I actually think the final day absolutely would have.

Andrew’s would have dropped down massively, Regis would have flown up.

Arteta would likely still get any one ‘voted’ for due to worldwide fan base of course and that won’t change anytime soon.

Online voted ones probably mean the least nowadays.

Clearly doesn't get awarded for most impressive coach. Someone thats spent millions over 5 years finally wins a trophy. Over an unknown manager that has lead a team into 7th on thier return to the Premier League at first attempt. ****e award anyways. Regis manager of the season and xhaka should have got player the impact he has had on us is incomparable really. Not even being biast.
