I'm guessing we shouldn't celebrate because the premier league and their refs are against Chelsea. Although couldn't find in those comments about the 4 or 5 VAR checks for penalties for us and we didn't get one of them.
the worst thing about yesterday for me was my Dad not getting there. He’s going under the knife for 6 hour op in a couple of weeks and I reached out out to so many places trying to get him and my Mam in yesterday (until last season he’s had a season card since roker, his health is not good enough to let him get around now!)
This could potentially have been the last realistic chance for him to see us (the operation of successful will have a.hug impact on his mobility) Particularly in such a huge game!! So that is hitting me hard today. I’m gutted I didn’t make it, but more gutted that he didn’t.

And at least 2 of them were nailed on if happening against Chelsea! The grappling at corner and throws took the piss. Luke got pushed and grappled over more times than the checks aswell. About twice yt happened when the ref noticed it, why? Cause the ball wasn't in play so he could have a word but didn't need to point to the spot!
You can guarantee it was expected by pundits, refs, fa etc that Chelsea would win and take the europa league spot yesterday. Ref and VAR were still hoping. To be fair he gave that second yellow when he could have booked the other fella and not had to show a red.

On the subject of MoTD it's time to bin it, it's outdated with today's instant replays all across the internet.
I record it occasionally and watch our match but you very rarely see our efforts being praised...there's always a but.

You do know Gabby wasn't on MOTD yesterday?Went to bed in a right mood last night after staying up to watch MoD . I swear now I never will watch it again until Shearer, Rooney and Gabby are replaced. I used to like Rooney and Shearer but no more.. The programme was a disgrace, and its been building.
Knowing the BBC they will probably replace Shearer with Sutton ..
The worst grappling was the great corner we took with the short pass from Xhaka, square to the edge of the box the back though the lines for Xhaka. He blew his whistle after the ball was in play, made his retake a corner which Chelsea had no clue about, and they then knew the plan!
****ing ridiculous, pretty sure Xhaka had the ball back when he blew his whistle as well!!

Still waiting to see a few others but I am sure we will manage to survive 3 games a week. After all the Visitors really improved when they were knocked out of Europe. Didn’t they !!!!
