Jermaine Beckford On Sunderland securing Europe and North East bragging rights:

Newcastle fans will be fuming with it. The heat on Howe really started to pick up pace when they lost to Sunderland, in the North East that's unacceptable, you maybe can draw one, but you can't lose two back to back.

Regis le Bris has done a unbelievable job at Sunderland getting the players together and making them all believe that they can do it, and they can do anything they put their minds to.

was doubtful with that referee, how many penalty calls went to VAR ffs...being quite strict i would say one was (or should have been) awarded.

watching the lads gathered round a mobilpe checking all the other results then the massive cheer and yells and grins from them all made the day perfect, we knew but they had to find it all out.

MotM goes to granit, that lad covers so much ground, is always coaching through the game and always finds space for a pass...thanks for coming marra, we appreciate it!

The lads crowding around the phone was class made me smile so much. Xhaka says to the bloke you got your phone and he makes him wait until as many of the lads as he can muster are gathered around the phone and then they look! The joy on their face man!

KLD what you have done to this club is unbelievable, it isn't built on fluke or lucky results its hard work, determination and a plan! They build on solid ground!

One of the most positive posters on here mate, sometimes ya so positive it bites you (we can be being outplayed and looking ****e and you still insist the other team will tire and we will do them <laugh> sometimes ya even get it reet <laugh>)

But you said weeks ago it would all come down to the last game at Chelsea and we would beat them and secure European football. There were times that prediction looked dead but you still believed! Think you took the till the end motto to heart mate!

Unreal that lad! If any young kids think football is about being flash and not hard work determion and belief in what you can do they need to look at Luke! Those players over the years who have looked like they had the world at their feet at 17 only to put their feet up and live off that early promise while being ****e don't have 0.1% of the heart Luke does. What a ****ing champ he is!

I will say though its the way to be, if you are negative about every result that doesn't go our way and act like.we are getting relegated after every draw or defeat then pack the whole thing in don't bother. Let's get carried away man, is the attitude to have! Enjoy it!

What an afternoon that was. Back home from the wonderful chaos I've just witnessed. We battered them 2-1 flattered them. We played like a team they just played for themselves. That said they do have some very good players individually so could always hurt us that way but we were levels above. A magnificent performance to round off a tremendous season. One that I certainly didnt think was possible even in my wildest dreams.

Absolutely buzzing.
