I tried telling you that when you were saying we'd get into the champions league. It's perfectly acceptable to make assessments and especially if you end up being right.
Howe needs to go urgently but he will survive long enough to make the situation worse unfortunately.
To any normal Newcastle fan (ie not most of the folks on here), Bruce and Pardew were embarrassing clowns, and Howe is obviously leagues above them.
This season's been terrible and I'm not happy, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Bruce days.
The table says it's just as bad if not slightly worse and with a significantly worse squad.

Don't worry Howe has confirmed there's not going to be any changes to the recruitment strategy, so once he's got Garner, Robinson, Mitchell and Tarvenier over the line we'll be fine.

Plenty on here take inverted pleasure whenever we lose, because it allows them to try to validate their ongoing narrative that everything's rubbish. It's weird and really tedious.
It’s this insanity of somehow thinking this season is ok, a free hit, or some bollocks. He’s going to buy more crap, he’s going to stick with his mates, he’s always done it, always will. People seem to have completely lost sight of what “we demand a team that tries” meant - it was about spending well, and striving for better. We’ve been so awful all season , we deserve better than the insipid crap Howe serves up, and his excuses and manner since December have been so small time, I don’t get it. Do we just want to be plucky underdogs forever?
Sorry I’ve been so bored with yet another match I’ve only just realised Howe has switched to a completely ineffective 433 and got Hall at right back, with Nick in midfield. What a ****ing mess.

The happy clappers thought we'd get top 6.. They wouldn't bloody listen and now they still seem to be trying to teach the top students something.
Bit like Howe and his tactics of Run Forrest Run and then says it was uncharacteristic of us. This season has set us back 3 years. We have no momentum, spent £750m and Howe looking more like Bruce by the day.....
No it hasn't set us back 3 years, you've just decided that for some weird reason.
Likewise saying we've spent £750m completely ignores sales and net spend, that's a stat right out of the GG book. The season has been dire, but these things can happen.
