See you there about 2pm

About 2pm-ish for us too.

I can't drive the usual way as the road past Herrington Park is closed and apparently all the car parks in the city centre will be full. Decided to drive along Wessington Way, park at Sainsburys and walk from there. I know the Radio 1 thing is really good for the city but I wish it could have been on a different weekend to the footy!

Someone's dropped a bollock over on the club website. Apparently,in the RLB article, ELF has a growing partnership, connecting well with "Brian White"!

How will you be watching the match mate …

… or is it too late/early?
8.00am on here which is better than your noon kick off's....lol.

NBC Peacock is the go to channel although they use USA Network and even YouTube is in on the act I think.

So excited mate......be safe on your travels there....don't piss too many people off in Central Station.

Certainly on the way back when we are in Europe and have finished above them.

Come to think them easy six points the VISITORS were talking about when we got promoted have come in nicely for us.....LOL!!!!!

It’s funny that an individual supporter believes them saying we’ll win can jinx an entire season, even the entire club …

… yet, mention a congregation, even an entire religion, believing in the power of prayer and they’ll say it’s a load of bollocks <laugh>

It makes you wonder which point we’d have to reach before people believed we could win a game.
I will never understand how people let their lives, choices, and aspirations be directly affected by superstition Smug. It all feels very medieval and primitive to me. Me? I just wear the same pair of socks every day until we get beat, and then I put a new pair on.

The upside is I haven’t needed to buy many socks this year. The downside is the wife’s sleeping in the spare room and the dog refuses to go for a walk with me :emoticon-0136-giggl

Sounds good mate, I expect you'll be able to keep an eye on the other games as well.

I'm sure you know but there are sites called 'current premier league table' or whatever that change in real time.

I'm not going to be checking though, I enjoy seeing the mood in the stadium change as scores come in.

Incidentally it's a good point about the 'easy six points' for Newcastle ...

... if they had those they'd be in with a shot at the Champions League!

Yeah, Central Station could be interesting before and after the game with Sunderland, Mags and Chelsea passing through.

Walking through, afterwards, as the top NE club, two derby wins and a place in Europe would be quite something.

Enjoy yersel mate, mebbe's see you next season!
