Well we qualify and win the conference league next season, we compete in the Europa league the following season.
Once we win the Europa league then we’ll be in the champions league.
Then we win the champions league and compete for the world club cup.

You beauty - brought a mile to my face - but . . . . . Why not !!!!!!
KTF

We can't be thinking like that though they're 3 completely different teams than us, I think our owners have more nous than those 3 and in kld we have what hopefully we'll be before he sells us "a winner".
Absolutely right. And this is what I keep telling my Dad. Historically one if the most negative.

Said when we equalised on Sunday “that’ll do ref, blow the whistle we’ll take that”

I obviously said “,nah we’ll win this”!

Even at .inchtime today my Dad was going on a bout Forest and Paiace and how their seasons have dwindled. To which I said that he told me last season was too early for promotion when we won at Wembley. We gave an owner and backroom which is set up for “whatever comes”. I have zero doubt that Ghisolfi has his players for all eventualities already set out.

Been a SAFC supporter since 1981, never have I been able to say that! Pretty much what @Smug in Boots gas in his signature!!

Good calls from back in April lads.

This thread has been funny, like a child's toy that's been ignored for weeks on end, hoyed in the back of the cupboard and only played with now again ...

... all of a sudden it has pride of place and the other games have been put away!!!

Whatever happens we can enjoy it and have some fun for the next week. And the bonus, for me, is that I can walk through Newcastle, next Sunday evening, knowing they are ex-League Cup holders, were beaten in both derby matches and failed to qualify for Europe ...

... if we're lucky we might even get to see them having to pretend they're not watching if we play in Europe <laugh>
Bring it on mate

Wish I could just fall asleep tonight and wake up on Sunday morning. It's gonna be some atmosphere.

After the Derby win at the **** hole I thought we would do it. Then after the Forest and Wolves games it became a long shot so I consoled myself with the fact it had been a great season anyway. Even before Sunday it was a long shot. If Brentford had turned over Palace like I thought they would we would be relying on a Man Utd win. Now if we win we have 2 possibilities Brentford not winning at Anfield being surely the most likely. We are still outsiders but we have a better chance than most will think. I'll be gutted if we miss out but ultimately I'm just buzzing that we've got in my eyes a very decent shot.

I’d say so.

It’s still exposure, we’d sell out those games for sure as we’d all want to be part of it, probably not massive TV income etc but exposure to fans around Europe and the world who might not fully know the club.

I’m speculating but there’s clubs like Palace, Vallecano etc in there who are smaller than us and it hasn’t killed them. We know we are well ran so I’d wager we can absorb that quite comfortably.

Would certainly add a few quid to sponsorship deals and so on, which haven’t been announced yet.

Much as it will pain us we are likely to sell one of Roefs or Sadiki for crazy money this summer too which will bloat our income, as well as a few contracts ending for players we paying for nothing at moment.

We in good shape.

It's a launchpad for me.

Hope we have a real go on Sunday , would be great to have the Coventry play off team welcome that the fans put on - it was really spectacular and inspirational for the team to produce a match winning performance .
Looks like it’s happening with the fan groups encouraging the line the streets to welcome the team to the stadium as for Coventry play off semi final , come on everyone let’s really get behind the team they deserve our support everyone in place at 2.10 our lads bus due 2.30 . In the ground early to make it a cauldron of noise . HAWAY THE LADS !!!

That’s mental I’m not convinced we have that many thrones like <laugh>

Who ****s at the match anyway. Mind I suppose there’ll be loads in the ladies.

I've had to **** at the match before a few times. When I've gotta go I've gotta go. It's a pretty unpleasant experience pre match but God help you if you need to do it at half time or full time those toilets are in a horrific condition. I think the main issue is the lack of water pressure in the flushers leading to some ****ing horrific sites.

I should add luckily I've never had to go any other time than pre match which is frankly a God send.
