Yes the cup final used to be special. We used to take it in turns to watch it with another family of Charlton supporters when my children were at home. Somehow all the magic has gone. I did watch it and it was quite an interesting game from a tactical point of view. I really can't abide either club though. I hate to say it but Man City are usually a decent team to watch as a neutral.

Looks like we’ll be entertaining the ‘ammers next season. Spurs just need 1 point from their last two games to be safe and that’s only if the ‘ammers beat Leeds on the final day as well.

West Ham <doh>

That's what happens when your greedy owners sell the Club's soul.
I see Baroness Brady has walked away.

Well done Manchester City on winning yet more silverware. Amazing record that Guardiola has. It looks like I will be going to Upton Park next Season.

I used to like City a bit when they were struggling, always under United's shadow.
Natural sympathy for the underdog I suppose.
But I detest what the £Billions have turned them into.
A Club above the rules, able to do anything it likes.
They get zero credit from me for any Titles or Silverware they have bought since Mansur bought them.

But I appreciate it's all about different views.

Upton Park <doh>

The London West Ham Olympic Stadium :emoticon-0164-cash: paid for by, you guessed it... you and me.
And now it looks like we'll be forking out yet again...

Thanks Boris :emoticon-0172-mooni

Most Hammers fans wish they were still playing at Upton Park. But I believe it's posh flats now. No ball games, no riff-raff.
How fortunate we are that the kindly old owner of the Valley would never consider doing that <whistle>

At least the ‘ammers fans know they’re not playing at Upton Park anymore.

Unlike some ‘Lifelong Charlton’ fans <doh> <whistle>

The real reason Pep is leaving Man City now?

The club is richer than the Premier League. Nothing will happen unless the oil crisis affects their funding.

Important games for Man City & Spurs tonight.
I would love them both to lose but that isn't happening I expect.

For me, Iraola is the best manager in world football. His Bournemouth side are unbeaten in sixteen and have only lost seven all season - the same amount as Man Utd.

He lost a clutch of quality players before the season started, then Semenyo in January, but just replaced them with brilliantly scouted talent.

To be in with a genuine shout of CL football is nothing short of phenomenal. Don't be surprised if they end City's title hopes this evening.

I really thought Iraola would be a shoe-in for the City job. He will go far, no doubt.

Blimey.

I wonder if Southampton are inclined (or even allowed) to appeal.
That could make things very complicated indeed.

EDIT:

I just heard on SSN that Saints are appealing tomorrow, in front of a different 3 person panel.

But the Club has admitted spying on more than one opponent during the season.
That must have given them an unfair advantage to finish in the play-off places.
I hope the appeals panel throws the book at them.
Wrexham will be unleashing their lawyers next...

I feel for Saints fans.

Their Club has cheated multiple times (at least 3) in this way.
As one fan said on SSN just now, their season has been ruined.
All the good football they played- tainted now.

We have to assume this spied information was used.
Which implicates the manager, or some of the coaching staff at the very least.
It's a shameful situation.

The club should reimburse the fans for hotels, trains etc, but they probably won't.

I'd be livid if I was a Saints fan. The team has enough quality to prevail without the need for cheating.

Shameful.
