The Poll is about to close.
A decisive majority in favour of a 2026 World Cup thread <ok>

What I had forgotten is that I started one about six months ago <doh>
Then forgot about it when it slipped off page 1 :emoticon-0158-time:

EDIT:

World Cup Finals thread now added to the sticky threads at the top of Page 1...

Lincoln boss has jumped ship and joined Bristol City

A blow for Lincoln, but these things happen I guess.

Good luck to the Gunners today - it would be good to see an English clean-sweep of European Club trophies (even if one of them was you know who).

Poor old Slot.

I wonder if Klopp is about to make a come-back.
Liverpool gaffers now get the tin tack just for not being him.

Hotel? Trivago :emoticon-0138-think

He was under detention at Hanover airport, they suspected he was trying to smuggle Shergar in, turns out it's just the teeth. :emoticon-0138-think

Incredible move (or lack of one) from the owners of Southampton FC

Now in my view the FA has to step in.
Eckert should be banned from all Football activities.
With FIFA backing that up, the owners of Southampton will have no choice but to replace him.
It beggars belief that the owners think it doesn't matter that Eckert cheated, and forced junior staff to do the dirty work.
All they care about is that he's supposedly a good manager <doh>

Poor stance from Southampton and one by the looks of their Not606 site supported by their fans.

I’d like to think Charlton would have acted differently in the circumstances and more so of course we’d have never done it in the first place

Saints fans want to keep Eckert? :emoticon-0104-surpr

If that's true I don't think they'll get much sympathy from fellow supporters of other Clubs.
There will be some interesting chants going round next season...

Their stance appears to be he’s new to the country and culturally still adapting <doh>

Oh yes and he won a load of games…

I'm gobsmacked.
So cheating is the way they do things in Germany?
That doesn't wash.
He's a grown man. He knows right from wrong.
Hundreds of foreign managers come here new to our English ways. They don't send spies out all over the place :bandit:
(OK, Bielsa did. But he's an Argy).

Those Saints fans still supporting him need their moral compasses checked.

My in-laws have refused to renew their season tickets.
