Now in my view the FA has to step in.
Eckert should be banned from all Football activities.
With FIFA backing that up, the owners of Southampton will have no choice but to replace him.
It beggars belief that the owners think it doesn't matter that Eckert cheated, and forced junior staff to do the dirty work.
All they care about is that he's supposedly a good manager

Saints fans want to keep Eckert?

If that's true I don't think they'll get much sympathy from fellow supporters of other Clubs.

That doesn't wash.
He's a grown man. He knows right from wrong.
Hundreds of foreign managers come here new to our English ways. They don't send spies out all over the place
(OK, Bielsa did. But he's an Argy).

Those Saints fans still supporting him need their moral compasses checked.

That's their choice, but no owner or manager has ever stopped me from watching my club. Short of health problems or a ban no one will ever do so either. We've had more than our share of convicted fraudsters, carpet baggers, and pettifoggers, each to their own though.
