To be unbeaten in the 3 games after the Forest game? Fair play.
And we knew this .

That's why a drubbing like that didn't concern me like it would have done in most of our past. Many of our teams in the past wouldn't have surfaced again for two months after such a game. Bad night and all that, but in this league, almost every team has their bad days and bad runs.

But we just have the mettle in us to come back. Inside games, and after a defeat, we almost always come back.

And it is absolutely fecking wonderful to see. This is the team and the time we've been waiting for. And it's going to get even better.

We never looked in any bother, flukey goal got them the lead, The monster up front wore them down
So true that. His goal summed it up. Tarkowski is a really good defender, and he'll be used to that lean in and use of the body to be enough to snuff out the chance. It usually would be. But he just bounced off and ended up on his behind.

Superb, just superb.

And that sort of pass, five yards or not, is just the kind of thing that says how good Chris is and will be.

No panic, eight yards out, a pass to a player he isn't looking at, but one whose position he knows. He sees things, and then he can deliver. Serious talent that boy, and he is in the perfect learning environment.
