The EFL have acknowledged the letter sent by the HCST, OSC, HCSS and Disabled Fans Trust. They promise it will be put in front of the relevant eyes. Whether those eyes will read it or if it will make any impact on them remains to be seen.
As an aside on this, I can't help but view it as what would be best for City. I want the game to go ahead. We've been to Wembley only four times before, and I want to see City play there as much as possible. My kids have never seen them there and I want them to have that experience. I don't know who'd be best to play - a screwed up Southampton or a Middlesboro team potentially sans Hackney and Conway and who have switched off a little after the defeat to Southampton. A scenario that I can't get out of my head is of Southampton being found guilty, fined, points deduction and all, in a way that makes their manager staying with the club untenable but means they still have to play us on the 23rd.
