Ive done the International suite a couple of times and another one I cant remember the name of with errea when Wigan won the grand final but the boxes are beyond me!!

On the stadium tour the guy tells you the prices, apparently Adidas have a big one which costs £100k per game. I also saw arsenal have one on the halfway line which is currently going for £130k for the Burnely match. Its madness.
It cost a fortune and it was basically just a meal in a room in an office block and then seats in the ground for the game and it was quite possibly the worst food I've ever been served.

I mean what Southampton have done is out of order, but they where horrific the first leg Boro should have been 3/4 ahead at half time. Grasping at straws to me, even if it was Acun and us I’d be a bit uneasy about it all.

I think it becomes messy if they’ve proved to do it all season. A Millwall fan made a good point, if they knew we’d play a back 5 they’d have maybe played it totally different.

I understand your dilemma but as someone who at times contribute to the Mental Health discussion ,as I am a psychiatric nurse for a number of years you have to reach inside yourself and make a decision as to who deserves your loyalty.
Is it your long time upbringing or are you seduced by the past conquests of Mick Channon or Matthew Le Tissier,,and Martin Chivers remember we beat Chivers and his mob in 66.
I was trying to think of the Boro goalie in the 70s ,apart from latter day Mark Schwarzer or John Hickton
Don’t be seduced by these false gods, believe in your dreams
Don’t let yourself be dragged down to this level you are better than this
You are Hull and proud.
Take care and may I add peace be with you

Its bad though.... you have a case, you have evidence, but aren't allowed to present that evidence and then are not allowed to appeal. I hope Gibson goes after them ...

The EFL have charged Southampton. They will present the evidence supplied by Middlesbrough & any other involved parties.

Once it’s done Gibson can release his expensive lawyers. If he feels the need. Until then he should stfu & let the process proceed without trying to influence the outcome through the media.

This for me is absolutely bang on. Well said. It can't be any other way.
The only issue is whether we get a bye or whether Boro replace them in the final (plus, what the further penalties to Southampton should be of course). ......

"In these circumstances, the only appropriate response is a sporting sanction which would prevent Southampton FC from participating in the EFL Championship play-off final.

"We remain hopeful that the EFL, as regulator, will pursue such a sanction to protect the integrity of the game, safeguard all member clubs, and deter any attempt in the future to obtain an unfair and unlawful advantage in pursuit of promotion to the Premier League"

It’s Southampton's disciplinary, why should Middlesbrough have a seat in there, and what should they have to appeal? Middlesbrough would have presented their evidence and the EFL will have it.

It's very unfortunate for the efl that a) it happened during the play offs so a points deduction doesn't work, and b) they beat boro.

I get that people think they can't kick them out of the play offs, but if they win then a points deduction next time they're in the championship isn't exactly going to be a major concern and a fine isn't going to touch the sides of what you get for going to the Prem.

If they aren't booted out of the playoffs they've basically had no punishment, but if they are it seems drastic. I genuinely don't know what I would do in a non biased scenario.

That's not even going into if they've been doing it for months what the likes of Wrexham or Derby think.

And Hull Fc were offering them for £500 cash only, last season. World of difference.

The EFL have acknowledged the letter sent by the HCST, OSC, HCSS and Disabled Fans Trust. They promise it will be put in front of the relevant eyes. Whether those eyes will read it or if it will make any impact on them remains to be seen.

As an aside on this, I can't help but view it as what would be best for City. I want the game to go ahead. We've been to Wembley only four times before, and I want to see City play there as much as possible. My kids have never seen them there and I want them to have that experience. I don't know who'd be best to play - a screwed up Southampton or a Middlesboro team potentially sans Hackney and Conway and who have switched off a little after the defeat to Southampton. A scenario that I can't get out of my head is of Southampton being found guilty, fined, points deduction and all, in a way that makes their manager staying with the club untenable but means they still have to play us on the 23rd.

The best result would be to play Southampton on 23rd with tribunal decision after the match - therefore both teams go for the win on the day - if we win Southampton get fined and points deduction next season - if they win then they forfeit their place in the PL and their place is given to us - very fair conclusion

I’d take playing Southampton and the EFL making it very clear to the officials we should probably win <laugh>
I know this is obviously a joke but honestly, with this being the best scenario for the efl in keeping the game on but also managing to actually punish Southampton, you do wonder if they're might be a bit of pressure to get a specific result.
