With the referees performance yesterday. I said at the match I wouldn't be surprised if he sent one of our players off and gave them a penalty so imagine my thoughts when Fernandes tried to get Angulo sent off and then blew his whistle when Cunha went down in the box. I was convinced he was gonna give them the 3 points but seriously surprised and relieved when Cunha was booked for diving

I do think Bruno is a superb player and the sulking and hissy fits are his way of bemoaning a lack of standards.

He needs to watch Granit, and how Granit reacts to a drop off. Talking, motivation and encouragement.

There’s absolute levels between the 2 in terms of leadership.
He’s a pain in the arse if he doesn’t have Casemiro to hold his hand.

How good is it to be disagreeing on which game we were better in at this level of football.
Ive supported safc for a long time and there have not been many occasions when we have played a top team and been the better side.Yes we have held our own and own occasion won games but you always felt lucky in some way.Yesterday we were the better side and some of the interplay was a joy to watch and that team is streets ahead of the team that won the playoff final and can clearly compete at this level.Keep the core of the team over the summer and bring in 3-5 quality additions and we could try for 60 points plus next season, just improve year on year and who knows how good we can get?

Considering he won nothing in his career, and played most of his career for Swansea, Ashley Williams certainly has a high opinion of himself. As a pretendy Welsh person, from Wolverhampton, you'd think he'd have a little humility but he thinks he's the voice of all knowledge, telling a club like Man Utd it's 'farcical' they haven't given Carrick the job already ... who tf is this bloke?

MOTD was pathetic tbh.

"So, let's ignore the match and start the Sunderland coverage by concentrating on 'an incident' that wasn't even a booking despite being checked extensively by VAR ...

... and ignore one of the most blatant dives ever seen in a football ground."

Cheating of the worst kind that would've deprived Sunderland of a very hard earned point.
Spot on mate.

He's a quality player (not that he particularly showed that yesterday) but I couldn't stand watching his antics every week.
I was looking forward to seeing him play yesterday, having never seen him play in the flesh before. I thought he was absolutely ****e when they were out of possession, whinging about everything. He wasn't much better when they were in possession, we did a job on him and marked him out of the game.

Our midfield 3 absolutely dominated their 3. Casimero was a massive miss for them

I said that to the bloke next to me when he questioned Hume's role. I thought Hume had a great game doing all of the nasty bits in the middle of the park as well as covering for Geertruida when he pushed on
I’m not a fan of Hume on the wing, but I understand why RLB plays him there. He gives us more control whilst sacrificing some attacking play. We needed more out of Talbi yesterday IMHO

The right hand side was really fluid yesterday with Nordi and Geertruida going forward and Hume then tucking in at the back. I even noticed Xhaka playing right back at times to cover

I feel like Hume playing as a defensive winger allows the fullback (Geetruida in this case, Nordi usually) to maraud forward and still have cover, but the dynamic seems a bit odd to me, it's like saying Hume isn't the best RB nor the best winger, so we'll let the fullback do both and you just do the donkey work for them.

I love Hume and I'm really happy to see him playing so much but I don't see this as a long term solution for him.

That sums it all up for me.

Some of the one touch football and triangles we played was incredible, we seemed to open them up with ease. A special mention for Xhaka, the space he finds is unbelievable, he made the pitch so big yesterday, which in my eyes is the difference between a good midfield player and a great one
