FWIW I think we could just evolve the 433, by having a false 9 instead of a pressing 9. So I'd stick with Ramsdale, **** knows why the manager brought Pope back. Then back four of Miley, Thiaw, Botman (got to keep going with him) and Hall (Burn's wandering and lack of mobility is a killer). Midfield trio of Tonali sitting, Bruno right, Ramsey left (so all in best positions). Then I'd look to have Nick as a false 9 and to offset this would put Osula right and Barnes left in the absence of Gordon.

Thinking is this - Osula/Barnes prefer to face goal and can stretch it. Bruno/Ramsey/Tonali have enough to cover the wings and it allows Nick to drop into the hole to look for those runners ahead of him. Elange can also do the Osula role. I'd maybe suggest Wissa would be better off coming off the left instead of through the middle (to be clear, if Wissa was sold tomorrow I'd pop the champers, but needs must for now). If it's not really working, there are options to change it back to the usual press (swap Nick for, say, Neave), go 4-4-2, even switch to 3 at the back with Burn alongside.

But that would be my preference. A week of training, getting Nick to sit in the hole and get the wide forwards to press on so it kind of evolves from 4-3-3 to 4-3-1-2. I just think we need to freshen it up, but not sure Howe has it in him sadly - I fully expect the same bollocky rubbish expecting everyone to run hard and fast, then like for like changes on 60 mins.

He never liked Hall in the same way he never liked Woltemade.. Both probably not his picks and as simple as that imo.

It’s why we need a new manager. Even if we change direction on transfers over the summer, what’s Howe going to do? He’ll stick with his favourites, talented mavericks aren’t going to suddenly appear in the run hard 433.

Howe is afraid of being wrong, so anytime things aren't right he throws a player he didn't particularly want under the bus... This way it's someone else's fault... Like Ashworth Mitchell or maybe Nickson... Just a guess based on some very strange decisions...

I'm sensing folders is struggling to acknowledge the fact the so called bedwetters have been correct all season.... Correct in the face of endless ridicule might I add.

Worse still, this will still be right going into next. I’m baffled as to why anyone looks at the last 14 months of regression and comes to the conclusion that the same people responsible will get us out of it. It’s a nonsensical, merson-esque prediction.

I’ll be genuinely, pleasantly, surprised if we don’t go down. I honestly think we’re really unlucky that below us are teams that can and possibly will get out of it. My insurance bet is there but if we get beat tomorrow, **** me, it’s going to be tight. And how fitting that Howe takes two teams down then leaves.

Minteh will drive another nail in Howe's coffin by putting Burn on his arse numerous times I reckon. If he wants to play Burn at least play the lad at CB.

The Burn situation was never more clear than vs Brentford... The second yellow situation.... That was absolutely unbelievably bad management.

I think it’s more worrying that Howe doesn’t seem to see this stuff. Worrying and strange. But it’s his job to lose, what do I care if he does?!

No, not correct. Not all season at all. In the last dozen games we have not performed/got the necessary results. Before that we were hit and miss.

As for all teams to some degree there are extenuating circumstances that have played a part such as Isak and Wissa's injury at the start and Bruno, Big Joe and Miley's injuries more latterly.

As far as the Bedwetters are concerned some of what they say is proving to be correct but a lot is still absolute garbage. Too much of what is said is based on pure guesswork but stated as undeniable fact as if they were privy to insider information. And don't get me started on 'entitlement' behaviour very akin to that of the Greedy Six's fans.

At least Joelinton is back Today.. Gives us a chance, because he's an essential player....he's vital... It's a disgrace that so many don't understand that by now or how skilful he is... Not just putting himself about he's very skilful.

Entitled fan here.

Predicting we will press their keeper and he will play it down the middle to the gaping hole and they will win that ball and break on us. Has been the same for the last 5 games and so expect the same here. Ive bet on Wellbeck to score, may as well make some money on the predictability of Howe and NUFC.

Enjoy The Game!

I REALLY hope we win today...but I just dont think we will. There is an article on BBC sport considering if Leeds have done enough to stay up after their win yesterday. We are below them in the table... Brighton arent a "big club" so we wont bother to turn up to the extent we did against Arsenal, and that was far from a good performance albeit slightly better. Honestly think we're fooked.
