I would like to see Enzo play in his best position now and again, really cries out to be played in behind the strikers its time Diarra was rested imo. Great to see Ballard, Hume and Isidor come on and change our game style, but Mayenda on for Diarra might have seen us win this one. Reg needs a re-think on his starting eleven if we are to make real progress in these last few games but I'm not really expecting it tbh. And nothing can take away what we have already achieved this season. OaU

I agree but you can't pin the blame on one miss when O9 was poor for 3 goals.
Im not blaming 09 for them 3 goals as he is what he is, Reggie takes some blame for me keeping him in and not starting Ballard. He's done well to cover us when we had injuries but when your 1st choice c/b is available he should be starting. Unlucky that alderete went off as I think him and Ballard stop that 4th goal but we'll never know. I'm more disappointed with diarra not taking his chance, that is what cost us that defeat when it should've been a win

A long time since i've been as deflated at the final whistle as today, could have been a comeback for the ages especially considering where it would have taken us too in the table

Our defending wasn't up to our usual standards but not gonna point any fingers today.....coulda woulda shudda in various situations throughout the game.

Still everything to play for and we get first go at it next weekend.

Just about calmed down from that game, we faltered a bit in defence today but the spirit of the squad was fantastic. Despite being 3-1 down, the lads didn’t give up, unlike some on here. To come back to 3-3 was incredible and but for a misjudgement from Diarra we would have won it.
I don’t think anyone should be singled out for criticism, we should just celebrate the positives of the game and the season, so far.
Oh, and we’re still only 2 points away from a Euro qualification, and 4 points above the visitors.
Really looking forward to being there Friday night!

Diarra is okish, but Fee should play in the centre and Talbi on the wing

Very poor marking for their goals.. not just 09 to blame.

yup, agree with this, riggy has played himself into the right side (albeit after a bit of a dodgy start) and talbi should be on the left...le fee with his passing and trickery really should be in the middle, diarra certainly needs to be rested.

A point I saw made elsewhere, Talbi doesn't defend well and Reinildo bombs forward. So those 2 together not the best choice. Need Hume behind Talbi. Or Reinildo behind Le Fee.

I have this nagging feeling that Mayender would have put Diarras tame effort away, and i cant understand why Reggie doesn't use him more as an impact sub, use it or lose it if he doesnt start using him hell want to be off

I take the point in relation to our centre backs allowing too much space today. However, I look to both of our fullbacks. We allowed too much time for crosses to come in. Nordi, at times, seemed to be neither defending or effectively supporting the attack. I know, it's a nit-picking academic exercise, so I prefer to concentrate on the positives.
We went toe to toe with a team that is expected to get champions league football and gave them a bloody good game.that came down to fine margins.
The club will look at games like this and know what is required to step up, and I trust them to do what is required
It hasn't been too bad a season has it :emoticon-0105-wink:

Been out all day so never seen the game. Saw it was 3-1 then checked the full time when I got back and feel sick. I'd made my peace with a defeat when I saw 3-1 then to look now and see how it all panned out seems devastating.

Shows we've got a lot of fight though and can see us going unbeaten the last 5 games. Would have been an amazing point and by the looks of it we could have had all 3 it seems Diarra missed a one on one. I'll watch the highlights but it may just depress me. More in a devastating manor than we a we are crap manner but still hurts.

yeh i can see that but who scored our 2nd today and he was furthest forward of all them, sometimes those 'risks' need to be taken...we also have angulo and ta bi to join in when ready, if RLB can keep reinildo further backit could work.

i also feel nordi and ballard need to be our central defence when both fit, alderete is a good lad to have on the bench or replace one of them when injuries happen, onien has been ok when on the right/left but he was exposed as central, the good thing is, we can have these discussions because we have the players to come in rather than having a solid 11 and only the youngsters to come in.

Can’t pretend that had Diarra scored we’d be 6th with Forest and Wolves next 2 doesn’t smart a bit like.
Imagine if we'd nicked that 4-3. You would have to peel us off the ceiling.

Fine margins and Martinez can **** off with being 6'5". So many sublime moments that nearly got us an exceptional result. Pleased as punch for Hume and Rigg, and I hope Diarra gets redemption in the games coming up.
