You've already said that a dozen times, and it wasn't even your reserves you just had a few players out.

Likewise we had 2 of our best players in Bruno and Tonali out, and Livramento and Thiaw didn't start.

We had 7 players out who would of started had they been fit. So yeah it was 100% our reserves

Roefs
Mukiele
Ballard
Reinildo
Le Fee
Adungo
Traore

Cheers for the 6 points. I would not worry mind we have played nobody yet

See you again next season for two more times you lot roll over and have ya bellies tickled

It's almost liked we played **** or something....

Well done on the win, which was obviously deserved, we're moving on and focusing on where we finish at the end of the season.

The Makems have won again plain and simple and they did it with their reserves at our ground.... Let them have it.

I don't like it, but I wouldn't swap the places.... We've won something in modern times.... They'll play down the competition, but they dream of it... They'd love to win it, but they probably never will.

We battered them first half without actually playing well. We also had - Tonali and Bruno missing.

Deep down they know they played us at the right time. They have done twice

Fully fit, able to train, one game per week we would beat them home and away.

They wanted it more than us, small clubs always raise their game against bigger clubs, see port vale.

I'm not sure I subscribe to the wanting it more angle. I think they're just a better side than we think, and also our own side just isn't as good as we like to think.... If we had our best 11 vs their best 11 I think it would still be a close affair....the league table after this amount of games tells us there's not much if anything between the two sides.

If anything it shows just how far downhill Newcastle have gone and how far they've come in a relatively short period of time.

How many times will we be saying next season? They'll likely spend quite big again themselves this summer, and from what we've seen they're recruited better than us last summer, so might that trend continue?

I also noticed their manager read the game on Saturday, he made little changes here and there, which impacted the game. Howe threw on some pre planned subs after 60 mins hoping for the best.

Not as pissed as I was. They had better put it right next season.

Provided we finish higher in the league table we might yet still get a foothold in the bragging rights this season.

I don't encounter any of the Makems, so I actually don't care so much.. I'm more interested in Newcastle breaking into the top 6 longer term than beating an insignificant club in the grand scale of our clubs ambitions.

At least the delusionals have stopped counting the points gap to top 5. It was incredibly tedious listening to them trying to avoid what was actually happening in front of their own eyes.

If there's one positive to take from recent events it's the fact more and more people are beginning to realise there's problems at Newcastle.

The question now is whether this manager can resolve them?
We’re only seven points off top 5, six from sixth lol

This delusion is why beating you (virtually every time we play you) make it so much ****ing funnier

You lot are without question the most deluded fans in world football

We won a trophy though and have finished above Sunderland every year for a decade.... You'll probably never see Sunderland or Newcastle win anything again your life. I mean, with the financial rules it's going to be very rare any club outside the big 6 wins anything domestically ever again.

Genuinely I'm pleased we've seen it... Sunderland are at the 50 year mark now.

The Europa and conference leagues are the easiest pots to win if you land in the I suppose.
