We're out of the cups, and this is all we have left, so thought we should move on from last night.

What's everyone's thoughts on this game?

It’s 3 points max. We have the rest of the season beyond that to focus on.

They are just other team who we will be playing at home and who I hope we beat.

Could get messy if we don't win. Absolutely no excuse not to beat these.

According to their forum, their tickets for Sunday contain Sunderland v Visitors at the top and Sunderland v Man Utd at the bottom. If I was our ticket office, I would be telling the daft ****s, that the tickets need to be reissued with the correct details.

Failure to do so would mean the ticket is invalid and entry will be not allowed.

Really is a sliding doors moment this game.

Win and Europe is on

Lose and I dont know how Eddie survives it. He will be gone at end of the season or should be.

Hmmm I think the squads looking a bit worn out atm... I think this could be tough... Howes got next season whatever happens though I would imagine.

He's still the best man for the job right now, but I would like to think he'll not get final say on ins and outs this summer.

I dont think you are right (as in right man) but this summer transfer dealing will make or break him. If he goes for runners and PL experience we are utterly screwed, IMHO. I also have no idea what he is going to do in the Striker department. Wissa and Wolt are now a £120m problem. Will he look to sell both and buy two new strikers?

Interesting summer ahead.

I think Howe is saying look the players I didn't pick haven't worked. I'm pretty sure there was a power struggle in the background, so it would make sense.

Mackems will employ their cowardly low block. Having said, if they had a go they might actually score.

They are **** though.

Going for a 2-1 win only because they are ****e and Howe will get his players up for this.

They are on a bad run of form, we were on a good run before last night.

Low block I expect, we struggle with that.

They need a rocket up their arses before this game. Make them realise it’s not just three point at stake, it’s much more that that in the eyes of the fans, it’s local pride. Might shut those horrible twats up for a while.
" Might shut those horrible twats up for a while "
I doubt it, they'll still want Howe out and whinge like ****.

The dogshit from last night actually allows us to go under the radar a bit, and surprise people with a regrouped performance.

Plus first half was actually generally very good last night, an opportunity to nicely rebound here.
