Manning has been one of our best players under Tonda.
It just makes it all the more annoying that we had to go through so many games with Bazunu in goal.
Great to have a really good keeper. It seems a while since we had one
Yeah I couldn’t say much in the build up to this, but me and Tonda have been working a few things out which we knew would turn some heads when the team was announced.
Can’t say much more but really looking forward to the next game…
And there was me at home looking after the lady of the house, cutting grass, making lunch, polishing, any damn job to stop me looking and listening, gave the game 15 mins ET too!!

Cov moaning about how Downes and Matsuki could both have seen red. Whilst missing the fact that by far the worst (and deliberate) challenge was Sims’ elbow on Manning.
Downes got the Sky MoM given to him by my MoM Peretz!
Yeah but at that point the result was pretty much decided. Can’t really argue that they probably wouldn’t have lost if either (or both) Saints players had been sent off.
Peretz my MOTM. That save at 0-0 was genuinely world class and had they scored it, the game would have been totally different.
Hated the last few minutes but overall a really high quality performance and a fantastic result. Brilliant.
