I'd say the opposite; he struggles a lot more when pressed.

The other thing is whenever he collects the ball from a cross and there's a potential chance to break if he can release the ball quickly he always does the same thing: rushes purposefully to the edge of the box as if he's going to do something, considers one option but decides against it, considers another and decides against that too, then waves at everyone as if to say "nah it's not on this time lads, maybe the next one". It's almost like an ongoing joke thing how he flirts with distributing it quickly every time but never actually does.
The same as every single keeper does then
I see myhill has been brought up
He was the king of that

I don't think it's the same. Some keepers are more adventurous. Pandur is extremely risk averse I would say.

I think that's his issue with coming off his line sometimes too, like with the goal at Hillsborough where the striker tapped it in from about 8 yards out in the end with his first touch off a long ball that had travelled the length of the pitch while Pandur stayed in his goal waiting for him to come. That one annoyed me more than misjudging a cross which was more of a freak thing. Freak errors aside, I think he's very good when he's reacting to things but poor when he has to make a decision.

I don't remember Myhill's kicking being good at all really, but it was a different game then where kicking wasn't something a keeper had to worry about as much.

His communication on occasions is non existent, Derby away a prime example this season. For me a great shot stopper, but needs to take control and help his team mates out when facing their own goal

Thats fine, you can think that. Some of us do think he needs replacing and have said so for a while. His distribution is awful and his decision making has cost us a number if games this season. Didn't even need to be a failed pro keeper to realise it.

Failed pro.... Haha, again I know you're trying to look cleaver, but yet again you're just showing people just how much of a bell end you actually are.

Oh and I'd take failed pro absolutely every single day of the week, I've trained with, played with and been coached by some greats in the game. Unbelievably proud that I got to do the things I did and be involved with the club I've always supported. Played in both UK and abroad and then onto coaching and scouting.......You think calling me a "failed Pro" is taking a pop at me. Trust me, all it does is just show me and others just why we think you're a complete ****er and cement that opinion :)

Can’t remember who it was or if it’s just one of those fake quotes that go around but there was a player getting a lot of criticism and he said ‘I’m still closer to Messi than the average fan is to me’.

Even a ‘failed’ pro keeper is in the top 1% of people who have ever kicked a football in their life.

It was a real quote but
It was about a nba player
Talking about michael jordan or lebron james

Not defending Howden as he doesn't need it, but Sydney, have a word with yourself. That comment is pathetic and indicative of why so many on here think you're an idiot. You do sometimes make good contributions rather than biting at everything, so why don't you just concentrate on that.

I started this by mentioning what I thought was a blunder of his , it was not mean to be an analysis of his ability or record it’s been hijacked .
My point was that City go ex the last 10-20 years seemed to have made more blunders for oppos to score than other teams seem to, based on how few goals we are are or have been ‘gifted’ . Any thoughts anyone ?

Just to spark the debate up again, having seen the replay a few times now I can sort of see why he was caught in two minds. The two defenders out on the left should have done more than waving their arms about and pointing to stop the cross coming in. Maybe panda was expecting their guy coming in at the near post to get to the ball and therfore covering his near post.

Anyway if the useless ****ers at the other end had hit the target rather than the woodwork we wouldn't be having this discussion,

I thought it was even more pathetic people where blaming Coyle for not stopping the cross when Miller was the nearest man.
