Good luck to the lad. Looks like a canny move for him.
I suppose it demonstrates to others that they can do well at SAFC and move on to better things.
Hope that we get a decent replacement, hopefully already at the club, after all, the model, dictates that.
I also hope that at some point we are near the pinnacle and can recruit the best candidates.

I'd imagine we are looking far and wide for a world class youth development officer

It will an interesting one. Does the club at this early stage go out and get someone in who's done it all and is at a high level or someone doing a good job but with potential to improve. Or do we promote from within. I shall be watching with interest.

For that role you'd need the best person we can attract. Our youth setup must be the best it can be. This will help us in the long run.

Oh I agree, but it just shows you what we are up against when the Man City group come along and recruit one of ours. There will be a lot of competition.
Then again it's a compliment to our initial recruitment, hope we can do it again.

That looks excellent. The way the improvements are getting done bit by bit is better than all at once before the season started. Seems there is something new or improved before every game.

Always thought these were the South stand extension. There appears to be a massive new concourse available under the new extension?
