Politics and who we favour personally has become so much more transparent than it used to be,don't you think?
I remember asking my old man who he voted for( as a 15 year old kid some 50 years ago)... "Mind your own business" was his short,sharp reply.
Can't remember a lot of arguing about politics between individuals in those days and although politicians were crystal clear in their goals and stance,it was far more civil and respectful than it is now...
You make a good point there, Ric - without (hopefully) straying too far from the no-politics rule i think today politics is just a popularity contest and not about doing what's right for the country. I'll end it there.
