You were saying? The law firm is a family conveyancing company the advice she took came from a tax specialist in the complex situation. She was still in place last night and there's not much likelihood she'll be gone today. Never mind the bollocks talked in the rabid right wing gutter press and online media disgraces the outcome of the ethics inquiry and HRMC's investigations will determine her future.
It’s a massive problem for Starmer because Rayner is hugely popular with the grassroots, working class Labour supporters, something he is not.Resignation from the cabinet today is my expectation. “This affair is causing a distraction blah blah” - Done, Done on to the next one
It’s a massive problem for Starmer because Rayner is hugely popular with the grassroots, working class Labour supporters, something he is not.
Her popularity is also a key reason why the conservatives look to undermine her at every opportunity, rightly or wrongly.
I have already said that if she has knowingly acted in a corrupt manner, then she has to be held to account and punished but Starmer will still have to be careful about how he handles this because she could quite easily move over to the “Your Party”, which is probably more in line with her political views than the current Labour Party is.
I think that some of the Tories have a similar view to this video, about Rayner.
How dare a woman who cared for her bipolar mother when still a child, who became pregnant at 16(?) and, with the help of Labour’s Sure Start programme, rose to become a member of parliament.

As I said, a bit sooner than I thought, she stood down following the ethics adviser's report. Not because of the clamouring of the rabid right wing gutter press and online social media disgraces. I was right on the button, thankyou and goodnight. You were saying?
She has stepped down.
Cant there be a reshuffle?
Now's the time to put a few bob on her becoming the next PM.You can make your own mind up whether she was dishonest or plain stupid, either way she had to do the honourable thing, the gutter press would never give up until they suceeded in their quest.
Now's the time to put a few bob on her becoming the next PM.
Lot of knuckle shuffling going on amongst the righteous in right the tories, reform and their scumbag press. There was a reshuffle already in progress it will just be a little bit different than originally planned.
Yep. Imagine having a PM who had outright lied to the population who didn’t leave. Or important party members flouting laws they themselves had put in place.Clearly the right thing if the investigation has made her position untenable and bad for the Government.
However it isn't a case of 'they are all the same', because an issue has been uncovered, due process has taken place and Angela Rayner has left her job as a result, which is a nice contrast to the Tories lack of due process and months long scandals where the PM would just repeatedly say 'I consider the matter close'.
It is oddly actually evidence of some kind of improvement in standards.
Or an absentee MP found guilty of fiddling his expenses when an all to often absent MEP.Yep. Imagine having a PM who had outright lied to the population who didn’t leave. Or important party members flouting laws they themselves had put in place.
This is a blow for Labour, but their record on dealing with issues is strong. A bit too strong at times for me, but strong.
I think the current administration in the US has trumped the tories. We all know that there is nothing the Labour Party could teach the Tories about dishonesty, they are (not all) already World leaders in that department...

She's quick on the typewriter then. lol. 2 pages? That was ready and waiting well before the report hit Kier's desk and he's quick on the type writer too writing his reply within minutesAs I said, a bit sooner than I thought, she stood down following the ethics adviser's report.
