General ticketing issues

This was always going to be a problem game but the ticketing needs sorting out for sure.

Palace, as a PL club, still having so many restricted view tickets, etc, is poor and it's a popular game for us.

Hope you get sorted mate, I can't help as I've loads begging for tickets.

Not that this will help you much but this is part of an email sent to the club this morning.

Good morning Mr Rusev

I hope you're settling in well to your new role and welcome to Sunderland AFC.

As requested by my friend, **** *****, I was logged on to the ticketing website on Saturday 30th August 2025 and had 9 tickets in my basket to check out at 10:00am when the phase was advertised as opening for Crystal Palace and despite me delaying my departure to the game V Brentford and therefore missing out on a significant period of socialising time with my friends I was unable to complete the purchases. I finally decided to leave my house at 11am as it appeared highly unlikely that tickets would be available to purchase despite the club website advising of the sales period.

I'm most upset and disappointed that I've let down Mr ***** (through no fault of my own, in my opinion) as I have travelled with him and the branch for a considerable amount of time and must say that he is the most professional, organised and dedicated fan I have come across and I know he'll be feeling very upset and angry that supporters with 29 points have been unable to secure tickets for this game, despite having been at Burnley and in most cases the Huddersfield home game as well.


I'm travelling down with his group of approximately 150 on the train and was very much looking forward to the game, however this incident leaves a very sour taste for me personally.

I hope and trust this situation can be rectified as when I was on the ticketing site I counted over 150 restricted view tickets available to purchase.

I look forward to receiving your response and enabling me to be able to complete the purchase of the 9 tickets that I had in my basket at 10am yesterday morning.

I'm not sure if they officially went on sale in phase 3.

I know the pre-ticket information said any remaining tickets in phase 3 would be on sale yesterday morning, but I didn't see any confirmation from the club that phase 3 would actually be happening. Did I miss the announcement?

They didnt announce anything but many in phase 2 said they had seen about 150 on sale and I was in phase 3. Thought the club would have said after phase 2 if was sold out but nothing at all

Anyone know if someone can send a ticket over for a match to someone who hasn't got a customer number?
Ive been given a ticket for Everton but haven't got a customer number so not sure how it can be done.

I think I read that all tickets have to be traceable so you need a customer number.

It takes seconds to register a new account on the ticketing website though.

I can have it allocated and meet you at the turnstile …

… although you’d be better sorting it yersel for the future.

Thanks mate. Ive set an account up but he can't seem to send it over. Got a screenshot of it and going to meet him at the turnstiles so hopefully I manage to get in.

aye they should post at least a few days before like they used to do they sure need to improve that part

Man City away is meant to be on sale Thursday, no communication yet from the club…

Agree mate, let’s see if anything changes

I’d hate to miss out because I wasn’t aware they were actually on sale. Thankfully one of the lads is always on the ball.

Is there a 7 day rule for transferring your tickets? Do I have to wait until after 3pm today to transfer my Bournemouth ticket? Or, am I doing something wrong <doh>
