Its a risk. So much talent but can be frustrating. I wonder if its partly due to the ongoing embargo and showing willing to be more sensible, ie getting good money for Kamara and Puerta, bringing in Akintola for nowt, etc. I do think Kamara can be a real star but depends what's happening in his head. He doesn't even look happy when he scores.

Yes, noticed his lack of emotion after scoring.

He was the same last season.

Before and after the hostage video.

Some players like to thump their chests, kiss the badge and roar to the crowd when they score. Others just turn and receive the congratulations from their team mates.

I personally, don’t care as long as they stick it in the net.

I get the frustration if a player isn’t putting in the effort, but plenty of players last season didn’t track a player or closed someone down. It only seems to be Kamara that gets picked up for it though.

And on a number of occasions he very specifically did track back and saved us goals.

If I was Cooper, I’d be visibly (even if performatively) badgering the Club and the EFL for what they know and reasons behind the hold up.

Cooper might well be active behind the scenes for all we know, but for all we can see, he just passively accepts the Club’s word nothing has happened yet – yet the Club sat on the original decision against them back in July and it was the media who broke the story.

I think this would be an easy win for Cooper to visibly ask questions and in terms of expectations, it's from the 101 manual of journalism.

I wonder if the club could consider legal action against the EFL regarding the appeal. I know some think the club already know the outcome and are hiding it and I can understand that view but the EFL would announce it with or without us announcing it too.

The appeal was lodged in the first week of July and the hearing was exactly a week ago. I’m not saying the club are victims in this but the club being placed under sanctions doesn’t excuse the EFL’s piss-poor approach to administering the appeal process. The EFL are under heavy scrutiny right now due to Sheffield Wednesday and also Morecambe (no longer in the EFL but the problems began when they were still an EFL member).

Maybe I’m being optimistic but I hope the independent regulator knocks the Premier League and EFL down a peg or two.

I agree with a lot of that, but it took the EFL a while to officially announce the original punishment.

I'm not sure what to believe or for what motive, but I am surprised none of the local media 'seem' to actively trying to find out like journalists do (supposed to).

I don’t think the club know the decision. If it had been made there is no reason not to approve the Willlaims and Akintola signings.

They are also in effect impacting on the lives of both these two and Puerta and Laaloui.

Small point but the hearing was actually last Wednesday wasn't it? So more than a week. Thought it was worth correcting since it actually enhances your point.

Thanks. I actually thought it was last Thursday. 8 days then. Bit of a joke.
