That’s fair to a degree but it’s not simply opinions being expressed if you’re honest …
.. people are expressing what they describe as desperation, fear, etc.
Nowt wrong with that, but repeating it constantly makes it less of an opinion and more of an anxiety.
But that's just my opinion.
A guy at work is a hammers fan, he's watched every presesson game. He said they've been playing a 343, with bowen and paquetta playing as the 2 behind the striker. Sounds like he still keeps a wider role but will drift inside into pockets of space. My mate said they'll then drop to a back 5 out of possession and almost go 541On the Bowen thing, it looks like WHU have been using a back three all summer, with Bowen playing up top in a two. Expect he'll pop up all over, but I wouldn't think he'll be pinned to the right flank. Dunno what that means for our defensive options though

One thing we now absolutely know about our recruitment is that we will not be bullied either by price or time into taking anyone, if speakman believes the deal isn’t right for us we simply walk away. We did it for two seasons with strikers and we may very well do it with defenders. All we, as supporters, can do is watch and trust that they get it right, nothing to suggest, based on last few years that they’ll get it wrong.

I’m not too bothered about what people post on a transfer thread tbh.
But expressing the opinion that we need to sign one/two CBs is just an opinion.
Repeating that opinion daily/ hourly doesn’t make it any better or more valid.
When multiple people are posting the same thing it turns the thread into something other than a transfer rumours thread imo. If, after days or weeks of anxiety over signings, we announce one it’s all been unnecessary desperation and dozens of similar posts.
My opinion is that I’d like us to sign one, if not two, CBs …
… and that's my opinion until further notice.
Okay. People can post it as much as they like this is the transfer thread and right now we only really need CBs so people are going to say it and the longer it goes on the more worrying it becomes
