I don’t think you will have long to waitIf it wasn't for VAR we would probably still be in the championship so personally I love it.
I hold the right to change my opinion at any time though.

Where will Rigg go that will give him that many prem minutes at 19We've got around 11-12k prem minutes available next season in midfield. We've already got 5 midfielders who will want to get hold of a good portion of those at the club. We also want to add in another more defensive midfielder plus in this scenario an outright 10. To be a proper prem mainstay you should be clocking up around 3k minutes. However for you to be considered to have had a reasonable impact you really need to be clocking up 2k. As a specific example, Rigg doesn't stay at SAFC in 26/27 unless he gets around that next season IMO. So with 7 players looking for 2-3k minutes, the maths just doesn't add up. Of course you can probably get some of those for the number 10 to come from a wide position. However, with specific reference to El Khannouss, he would only naturally fit into the wide spot that we already have 3 viable options for - and those lads want to be hitting that 2-3k mins mark too.
Managers will always want one more player. Maybe we get an injury crisis that means they come into play. Maybe they just sit on the bench and in the stands and their value dwindles. Maybe we should just accept that we're gonna overshoot and be left with some waste next summer. However, buying players for big money and not getting good use out of them will catch up to us at some point IMO.
I don't get this...if he's just returned from a club competition, then logic would say the lad is fit as a butchers dog and super match fitChris Rigg, Nectar Triantis, and Anthony Patterson all missed out against Sevilla on Saturday and are likely to be unavailable again, although Régis Le Bris confirmed that the trio only have minor injuries.
Reinildo linked up with the group on Friday evening, but Monday’s match will come too soon as he builds fitness after returning from the FIFA Club World Cup.

Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly, Yoro, Scarles, Gray, Dibling, Bergvall, Tel, Odobert, Mainoo, Lewis, Huijsen, Hinshelwood, Hall, Dorgu, Buonanotte.I can’t think of many teenagers who play week in week out in the PL like. Lewis Skelly came through and Nwaneri but only because of injury. Archie Gray, who looked absolutely appalling for Spurs. Rico Lewis maybe if he’s young enough? Other than that I’m stuck.
Is this a recorded interview or transcript? Wouldn’t mind listening to it on the way home if it’s recordeda lot of here we go's to come I think - Phil Smith
that'll do me!![]()

The point is, if the choice is between not playing at safc versus not playing at arsenal or Chelsea on 3x his wage, he’s likely to choose the latter. In reality he’d probably choose Germany over either, but the effect is similar. We get forced to sell him at a lower price than we’d like.Where will Rigg go that will give him that many prem minutes at 19

Worth a fortune
Plays for Monaco. Haway Juan, earn your coin.
I think the club has already anticipated having the need for a larger squad by employing additional coaching staff to ensure that coaching is not too much of a burden to RLB . That highlights how much more professional the club is managed since the arrival of KLD and Speakman we now have a good infrastructure in place .Don't worry mate. Keep calm.
A long way to go, and a lot of quite smart people on the case. All is well.
that's weird. he specifically said they didn't have injuries when asked in his interview. Perhaps he meant not major ones.
That is kind of my point mate. Nobody has yet had chance to see what version of Rigg we now have. Similarly Neil. So much water to go under the bridge between now and game 1. I honestly dont think we have a signed a player this summer with more potential than Rigg. For me he is the diamond in the club. Way too soon to say he isnt going to be a main man this season, or even start game 1. Neil is coming upto 200 pro games under his belt already. I think folk underestimate what it takes to do that at his age, even at the level. He isnt far behind Le Fee, which seems a bit mad to say. But it is an indicator of a player with big growth potential season to season. There are no guarantees any of our players, new or existing, will flourish in the premier league. So we cant really have a set mindset on who our starting line up is 3 weeks out, in my opinion anyway.Well Le Fee and Diarra are certainly two of them. Based on what we seen last season I’m not Rigg is quite ready to be starting, he should be a massive player off the bench though. I guess it’s whether or not he thinks Neil is good enough to step up. It’s got the fanbase divided. I’d personally like one more in that’s undeniably better and has plenty of football at a higher level, either Xhaka or Henderson would’ve done for me. A player of that ilk.
Yep, me anarl. If it wasn't for VAR we would probably still be in the championship so personally I love it.

A fully fit Ross Stewart I’m still convinced would be perfect in this system, or a Kenwyne jones regen he was a monster pre injuryYou must log in or register to see media
Random one but what's everyone's ideal striker?
I always really liked Toney at Brentford more recently, been watching his goals and he was just the ideal ST for me.
